CHAPTER 5

After three months of the incident, ishra are living their live happily. Raman and ishita started to seek the proper treatment for ishita's fertility problem from the best gynaecologist which is eventually one of raman's friend from US who firstly help diagnosed ishita's condition, dr. Pooja. She told ishita the real problem of her, is blocked fallopian tube affected from her previous history of abdominal TB, there is no such thing as weak uterus. After a thorough investigations had been worked up, doctor told ishita that she only had one sided blocked fallopian tube, non complicated blockage which eventually not required laparoscopy, the doctor managed her by prescribing hormones and encourage the couple to try it in natural way. They will have follow up from time to time to monitor the progression. Ishra are coming home with the newest hope. Suddenly, "raman, I'm really scared, I don't want to build the hope, I don't want to shatter anyone again and especially you. I'm scared... Seems like baanj will always tag me along.." ishita broke down.. Raman stopped his car near the marine drive. He asked ishita to come along with him, taking a stroll together. He clasped his hand with ishita's, " Ishita, you know why you felt no hope can happen in your life? Because you brutally hurt with my betrayal. But today, I promised you, you can happily have the hope because from now on our hope will be cared by bhagwan, nothing will happen. I swear on my... Ishita shut him, "don't ever swear on your life, I can't live without you. One more thing, since when ravan kumar can cope with bhagwanji...I'm amazed, perhaps are you ram kumar right now?" ishita teased raman. "What to do, I love my madrasan, have to be ram kumar." Raman replied. "But I love mera ravan kumar more, you know sexy devil husband" ishita said it with a wink. "Accha, then ravan kumar is back to serve his madrasan." Raman replied while side hugging ishita. She thank him for comforting herself and now, she can have those little hope to be a real mother in every sense.

It has been a struggle for both of them, especially ishita to undergo the treatment. A couple of months had passed, one night, ishita is nowhere to be found on the bed. Raman worried and then he realized, the light in bathroom was on. He checked it and there, ishita is sitting on the floor helplessly... Sudden urge to vomit make ishita once again stand up and throwing up anything that left inside her body. Raman tried to help by massaging her back. He gave ishita a towel and a glass of water. "Are you ok now? How long have you been in here?" raman asking her worriedly. "I don't know how long raman, but I'm tired." Claimed ishita. She then lied down on the bed, trying to have a rest after having a long night of throwing up. "I'll bring you to meet dr. Pooja at 10 o'clock, in the meanwhile have a rest", raman concernly cared about ishita. Raman informed the family about ishita's health. Both the mom told raman to bring ishita for check up, they pray that there is nothing wrong with their lovely daughter.

Doctor invite both of them to have a seat. "Well, mr and mrs bhalla, congratulations! You are going to be a parent once again!" the doctor happily announced to ishra. "Are you sure doctor...i mean... I thought it was just another upset stomach episode..." Ishita still cannot believe the current situation. "Yes doctor, don't take wrong message, but we have been through a lot, we don't want to be disappointed once again." Raman voice out his opinion. "Calm down both of you, I have conducted the necessary test and yes it is true that mrs. Bhalla is pregnant." The doctor confirmed about the happy news. Raman hug ishita and they are both in happy tears. Doctor instructs ishita the necessities and responsibilities of her along the journey of pregnancy. They are going for first dating scan in upcoming follow up. They went home and unable to hold the excitement to announce the most awaiting news. All of the family members are being asked to gather in the living room. "Bhai what happened? Tell us na.." Simmi urge raman to tell the truth. " Ha ishu, are you ok? Don't make us worried like this..." mrs iyer asked them concernly. "Relax everyone...I want to tell that..." raman said it while glancing at ishu. "Ishita is pregnant!!! I'm going to be papa again! You are going to be dadi again ma!" raman announced it joyfully while hugging mrs bhalla. Everyone are overly excited with the great news, mrs bhalla and mrs iyer are busy thanking their god. Everyone come and congrats ishita. "Baby, I'm your sister ruhi.. promise me na, you will be my friend forever when you come out and be nice to mama. Love you. I will tell you every fairytale stories mama told me, ohhh,, I forgot, you are in mama's tummy so you can listen to it everytime mama read the story for me.." Ruhi talk to ishita's tummy and kiss her upcoming baby sister or brother inside it. Adi came and hug his ishima, he also did the same thing done by ruhi, loving the baby from start, "it is me your adi bhaiya, baby I'm going to protect you like a real big brother. Come soon na, can't wait to meet you" adi declared his love for baby. Raman and ishita cherish the family moment together. They still unable to believe that their dreams come true. Both thank the god in their hearts.

5 months had passed, raman is the one who suffered the most instead of ishita. Well, he need to handle his pregnant madrasan which seems impossible for every single father to be, take a serious note when a pregnant wife complained, request or ordered anything from husband. To live longer, do everything that had been told without asking any questions, be obedient. That is what raman felt along the journey of pregnancy. He has to face ishita's hormonal drama, weird cravings, never ending morning sickness, but for him, that is a kind of bless for him. He got a chance to serve his beloved pregnant wife in all way. To be surprised of the family, mihir are going to get hitched again with Sonia, a kindergarten teacher and ACP with mihika. Everyone congratulates and blessed the couple. For raman, mihir is like his real brother, his happiness mattered for him, if mihir felt his choice is the best for him, raman can only be happy and wish his brother a very happy life.Ishita is very emotional with her sister's upcoming marriage. Mihika deserved the best future after going through a lot of tough journey. Since the announcement had been made, everybody got very busy to prepare for two weddings at a same time. Ishita also lending her hand for anything that she able to help. Raman had managed her schedule for clinic and of course her activities inside the house. Ishita considered it as a loveable gesture and of course she do not want history repeating itself. She is so in love with the symbol of their love.

At night, ishita is resting on the bed. She caressed her tummy and talked to her baby, "Chotu, I still can't believe it that you are inside me, I really love you and everybody love you na... papa, adi bhaiya, aur ruhi... you are really lucky my baby... Thank you for coming in my life, I promise I will take care of you. Good night my baby, sleep well na..." "Arre waah, mumma having a sharing session with her baby, bechara papa left alone.." raman joined ishita on the bed. He put his hand on ishu's belly and talked to the baby.. "Listen na my chotu, mama is so stubborn, she needs rest but alas she moves like an athlete, please make her understand that you need enough sleep, don't torture my daughter na... Be on my side na chotu, papa love you.. Suddenly both of them in shocked, baby kicked ishita's tummy showing that she is on her papa's side.. "wait a minute, did you just said a daughter? I'm the one who carried the baby, I know it's a boy..." said ishita. " Let your daughter revealed it madrasan.. " My good daughter, tell your silly mumma that you are a girl please..." raman talked to the baby and yes, the baby kicked ishita, not once but twice. Unbelievable for her, she has to accept that her upcoming daughter will wrap her little finger around raman, she will be the apple of eyes for raman. "See ishita, I've already got my daughter on my side." Raman proudly claimed the victory. They both sleep with raman's protective arm around ishita's tummy. Everyone enjoy the lavish wedding that was held at a hotel's hall. They celebrate the couple and blessed them. Mihika bid final goodbye to her akka, "Love you akka, take care na, don't torture jiju that much.. Can't wait to meet my niece." Mihika hug her ishu akka warmly. "All the best mihir, I know you deserved this happiness. Thanks for being my brother." Raman talked to mihir. " I'm the one who should thank you bhai, you help me, guide me until I became what I want today, thanks a lot bhai, take care of Bhabhi and my little niece" mihir hug his brother before leaving to honeymoon. Every family members wishes a very happy and bless life for the newlywed couples.

Ishita is in her final trimester, everyone is busy preparing to welcome the newest family member. Vandu helping ishita to make sure that every baby's requirements had been bought. "Raman, wake up, " Ishita frantically shook his peacefully slumbering husband. "I'm in labor". " You've been saying that for weeks" he mumbled and rolled over trying to avoid her reach and getting more sleep. "I'm serious this time" she hiss while hitting his head with a feather pillow. Raman was unaffected by the move.. "Mr. Raman Kumar Bhalla! My water just broke! Raman froze as the words took a moment to sink in as his eyes opened wide. Suddenly he up off his bed and flying to the closet trying to wear a more proper clothes. "How long have you been in labor?" he inquired while grabbing the necessaries to welcome the baby. "Not long I think, I'm just awake for 20 minutes since I felt a strong contractions at that time" "Only you can sleep through out contractions" he rolled his eyes while helping ishita to get to the car.

"Are you nervous?" Ishita asked raman when she saw he was fidgeting his fingers on the way to hospital. "I'm excited actually to meet my daughter..." Raman try to calm himself. They arrived at the hospital. Ishita was pushed to the labour room. The doctor checked on her and she is 5 cm dilated. Raman supports ishita along the way of contractions. At last, ishita is fully dilated and she is ready to push the baby. With numbers of push, there it comes baby girl of raman and ishita bhalla. The nurse showed the baby towards the new parents. " She is so beautiful," tears flow out from ishita. "Thank you ishu.." raman kissed her forehead. Baby was being put on ishita, " ten fingers, ten toes, dark hair, she has your dimples, my eyes and nose...she is perfect. Ishita kiss her baby's hand, and then the little bundle of joy open her eyes and locked ishu in with her darkest brown eyes. It was so hypnotic and that moment ishita realize she will unable to say no to the baby. Nurse were taking the baby to be cleaned and doctor assured ishita is in a tip top condition consider she just delivered a baby.

In the ward room, every family members came to visit ishita and the baby. They congratulate her, and suddenly, "Ishimaaa!" ruhi and adi exclaimed with joy. "There you go my angels" ishita welcome her kids. Others are leaving the happy family to enjoy their moment. "Ishima.. I brought you flowers" adi hand out the beautiful flowers.. "Thank you, that is so sweet" Not to be outdone by her brother, ruhi brought a tiny teddy bear for her new little sister. "very thoughtful of you ruhi" ishita replied. Raman knelt down on his knee so that adi and ruhi can catch the first glimpse of their baby sister. They kiss baby's forehead.. "Papa, what is baby's name?" ruhi curiously asked. "Rania" Ishita and raman answered in unison. Rania means queen which she will become queen of everyone's heart. "Wow, nice name papa, hello rania, I'm ruhi your big sister". Ruhi excitedly introduce herself. " Can we hold her papa?" ruhi requested. Raman instructs them how to hold the tiny little baby, both of them outstretched their arms happily to receive the baby. Raman lowered down rania into their arms while helping ruhi supported the baby's head, before sat back slightly so that ishita can see the beautiful moment." Baby is so heavy papa.." ruhi complained. Raman and ishita chuckled. " Well she weigh slightly more than you ruhi during your birth, she is 3.6 kg dear." Raman replied. "What is this thing at her belly button papa?" again ruhi asked raman while adi happily observing his cute little sister. "That is called umbilical cord, baby eats what mumma eats from there..don't worry it will not hurt rania." Answered raman. "Bohot curious my ruhi..." ishita stated to her husband. " Well her first baby sister na... the next baby she will be cool and calm" raman winked at ishita.. "Another one raman?" ishita shocked.. "Just wait na.." raman replied. He kiss his wife and enjoyed the joyful moment of his complete family. Another new phase of life just about to begin..
