SOMETHING HAPPENED TO MY HEART

"Ishita, Raman is the father of Shagun's child" Simmi broke the news to Ishita. Her brain cannot digest it, she is shocked. She is numb, mute, a bullet just hit her heart. Simmi shook her bringing her out of misery. "Simmiii...iske matlab Raman is..." Ishita cannot finish her word, tears flow continuously. "Yes ishita, paternity report show that" Simmi answered sadly. Ishita just slumped to the floor, she laugh and cry at the same time. What a cruel joke god play with her at the moment. Simmi told ishita to confront Raman and help Ishita standing up. She gave full support for her sister in law. Ishita requests to be alone and Simmi reluctantly leaving ishita.
She cried her heart out, "Raman, if you are not happy with me tell the truth, don't kill me like this" the only things that she can uttered. Every family members are hell worried hearing Ishita cruel cry. At night, she managed to compose herself, she is waiting Raman to hear the truth from his mouth. Raman ready to enter his room, "Ishita why don't you sleep yet?" he asked ishita who sit on the couch and stared blankly at the floor. "Are you happy with Shagun?" asked ishita. Raman had no idea what happened to her, "I'm tired ishita, please no nonsense tonight" raman tried to avoid answering the question. Ishita chuckled and said "no need to answer, I can see you are clearly happy because Shagun is expecting your child and which father not happy with upcoming baby and yeah the evident is you are clearly taking care of Shagun'. Raman is shocked to hear that from Ishita, he senses it that his relationship is at stake if he don't explain it right now.
"Ishita, it is not like that, hear me first. The baby is for your happiness. Shagun is carrying our child, I opted for surrogacy and Shagun is the surrogate mother, remember that day I secretly took your sign for the paper because I know you never agreed for it at first time but I think I really need to bring back the hope that you can have baby, thus I took the decision..." he tried to explain to her and expecting Ishita to receive the happy news' with open arms. Meanwhile Ishita once again being killed with a bullet, her husband betrayed her trust cause she knew it she never ever agreed with surrogacy. "Raman, if this is so called happiness for me, you are wrong, you just killed me, happy to announce that Ishita Raman Bhalla is dead today! You broke me where I can never be saved anymore." With that, Ishita stomped out from the room, trying to find solace somewere else. She needs a moment and place where she can vent out everything. She drove absent mindedly, suddenly she stops at the park where he always brought Ruhi to play at weekend. In the mean time, Raman tried to find his wife, his life. He realized his stupid decision had cost him a very precious gift that god sent to him via his daughter, Ishita, his wife for entire life and next seven births.
She sit on the bench, staring at the dark sky blankly. "Fairy tales are lies, never ever hope for a happy ending when you are not deserving it, I'm baanj, incomplete woman, not worth for love and far away from happy life. Why don't you just took my life that day murugan?! I have no more reason to live when your beloved one disgraced you and he clearly proved to the world today that I'm a totally baanj who can't give him an immense happiness." Ishita vent out her frustations, dissapointments and cruelty of her life. Sudden heavy rain masquerade her sadness, her tears that flow non stop. She is totally drenched by the rain but she did not move an inch from the bench. She let the rain soak her hoping that the water can carry away the sadness. Raman drives aimlessly, he try to find his soulmate at every corner of the city but in vain, there is no sight of his madrasan. After a while, Ishita drove back, with heavy heart she get inside and her totally drenched physical got mrs. Bhalla shocked, " Ishita, what happen meri bacha? Where did you go? Go get change or else you will fall sick." Mrs. Bhalla pitied her daughter in law, no, her daughter. Ishita silently walk to not her room anymore. It is just a space with four walls, nothing else. She got change and next, Raman is back, he rushed to his room and relieved when saw his wife already home. "Ishita...where did you go? Are you ok? Ishita..." He tried to enquired about her whereabout and conditions but in return there is only silent. Ishita grabs her blanket and move out from the room. She feel suffocated in there, unable to bear the pain she goes to ruhi's room, the only place she can find solace right now. Raman cried at what destruction had he caused, Ishita is a lifeless body now, he didn't know what to do to fix it.
Ishita silently lay beside Ruhi. She kissed her precious daughter and hug her like there is no tomorrow for her to spend time with ruhi anymore. Raman lay on the bed thinking how he can live without his madrasan, even a minute without her caused him a lot of pain. Sorrow, broken hearted, guilty engulf both of them into sleep. They do not know what is the future of their relationship anymore.
