So Kartik on one hand fully believes and blames Survi for Lata kaki's situation, and on the other hand he asks Survi to take care of his mum.

Infact he puts an additional bed in Lata kaki's room for Survi incase she needs to spend a night in his house. Does he ever think that Surv inorderi to get rid of Lata kaki completely may actually kill her.

I think in his mind he believes that Survi did all that in her immaturity as an angry teenager and now she feels guilty. He wants her to confess and seek apologies but gets irked when he sees her in denial. I don't think he thinks of her as a murderer.
