2015 in many ways also belonged to this guy. Remember when I was one of the few fans when SOTY came out while many jumped on Team Sid. Varun was bashed for being a star kid who'll go away few releases. Was called talentless and ugly.

Since his first film he was praised in each of his work whether if film was thrashed. He definitely is the rising star of the year and possibly upcoming superstar. 2015 belonged to Salman Khan but that was not surprising as expected from him but a new star making his marks without being overhyped by critics is commendable. Just very happy. With or without Dilwale. Varun rocked 2015

Ranbir was hyped by critics and industry only. He had average/poor start. Clean success came kind of late for him.

Ranbir was working with more popular heroines like Priyanka and Katrina who pushed him to good openings otherwise his films opened to no crowd tillRockstar came

Also Ranbir came when there was no comp. Varun didn't even strike newcomer awards and was never hyped from his first release
