from Ishan's point of view it is important to maintain peace and respect of each meber in the family. Thus He wanted Preet to apologise as he thinks it was wrong of her to slap Naina. Fair enough. He has his reasons. But if he claims to know her well and really believs that she cant be wrong then he should assess her accusations too na, atleast for few momnets. Why would she try to break Bial trisha marriage when she was the one who convinced Bade papa? And regarding Preet's insecurity about Meghna, yes she expressed that in those letter reading scenes, but she is not jealous kind at all to put Naian to fix in aspot and take out her frustration on her for the jealousy and insecurity. As a wife, thts demeaning if the husband thinks so poor about you after claiming he can read her face and knws her out and out. He wants peace of mind and family unity at the exepense of the beloved wife's self respect Not a good trait imo. very typical of a man to react to a situation like that, that too a kind of man who is so devoted to his family, but is it healthy for the equation between the couple? I guess absolutely not. But as you said, it was a very mature take reflected through the conversation. Moreover I really liked when he gauged that it was not her whole hearted apology and he categorically mentioned that mere kehne se maafi maangana aur emir baat maan ne me bahat faraq hai. I am glad he knows her that much atlease and ven later saif I will not force you. Scene wahin khatam ho jata toh it would have been perfect. But they added that emotional pressurising to make him guilt stricken later I suppose/ Its for story purpose, fair enough. Berillaint writing, acting and execution. 👏
Yes payal, firstly it was a very typical male behavior, and then secondly, with rizwaan's equation, it becomes more reasonable, as for Preet, kudus to her for not beding and getting scared. For standing firm in what she believed and not making her love and her husband her strength.
as for the conversations, i dont think i have seen such a mature conversation before. There werent judgement and superlatives decisions, k tumhain ye ghar chorna pare ga and bullshit. It was a fight, where he said fine main aj k baad nai kuch kahn ga and mere liye maafi mat maango and Preet confessing that yes i was going to apologize only for u. Just wonderful!
