Chapter 1: The First meeting:The job or Rejection?
Radhika was ready in her black shirt and creme colour pants.She made a pony and checked her files.She looked at herself.Ok,she looked formal for a interview.She had to get this job else it would be a problem for the family.
Dilip Mishra,her beloved friend and father,was a businessman who was now in debt of 50 million.If not,there would be a lot of things at stake.She wanted Sam to complete her education.She was still in final year.Sam suddenly called her name and reminded interview is at 10:00 am.Oh Gosh!It is 9:30 and it would take a lot of time.Sam told keep this clothes in your baggy.The weather is cloudy,it might rain.Radhika nodded.
Before going she took her father and mother's blessing and Sam wished her.She had to skip her breakfast for this interview.
She took a bus and prayed to reach fast.She saw the bus arrived at the stop.She decided to now walk as she still had 10 minutes.As she reached was walking and was near to the office,her destination and only hope.
But a pure luxurious Mercedes car ramped to a dirt puddle and it instantly feel on Radhika's clothes.She felt angry.She looked at the person coming out of the car,a handsome man dressed in Armani Suit who would be any girl's man.He looked at her and smirked and was going when Radhika said,"Some people do not have respect and manners.They must learn it."He turned and said,"It was you standing here."She said,"I never said it that you have done it."She smiled making him angry.Oh this girl did not know him else no one messes with him.And he was never stuck with words.Well she was right,she never said it.But she meant it for him.He just angrily went off and said to her,"No one messes with Arjun".
Radhika was angry though but she had to hide it.Thanks to Sam,she had extra clothes.
She now was wearing white shirt tucked in with a brown belt and black jeans.She went there to ask her name for interview.The receptionist,her name Sara White written.She smiled a fake one and said,"Yep its your turn.All the best".This time she smiled a real smile.
Radhika with all her hope went towards the room.But was stopped by a man who said,"Do you know how to make coffee?"She replied yes.He said,"Its main criteria for Mr Mehra."She thought its weird,must be addicted to it.She went to coffee station and made a cappuccino with a smiley.She knew artwork for this,thanks to Ria her school friend who loved doing this and eventually Radhika loved it.
Radhika made the coffee and went into the room.But she was shocked to see the man,the interviewer was Arjun,the man with she fought.But she took deep breathe and knocked and said,"May I come in Sir?".He nodded.He signalled her to sit without looking and was busy with file.He looked at her file and gave thumbs up.She was so happy.So professional was he that he gave her this job.She said enthusiastically ,"Thank you Sir".Arjun now looked at her and said,"Hey how could you sit?"She said,"Sir you signa.."but before she could say,he says,"I never said anything."Caught in her own web,she was wrong.How unprofessional was he.
He smirked,looking more handsome but right now for Radhika he was a devil.He said,"Get out!I don't want such employees."Before going Radhika said,"Even I don't want to work under such a man who has no mannerisms."She said and went out.Almost crying.The receptionist gave a apologetic smile,maybe she knew.
There Arjun drank the coffee she made,the artwork was amazing and the good combination of sugar was just excellent.He had by now taken many interviews,all trying to seduce for being his secretary.That girl,Radhika sure had some guts and would be a good secretary.But his ego.
After 2 days,
Arjun was longing for that coffee,that one cup was surely addicting and it sure made him affected that she went almost crying though she did not really cry.She could easily hide her inner feelings and could still fight,indeed perfect for his secretary. Indeed in these 2 days,he was thinking only her and her qualities.
He picked his phone and dialled a number and said,"Rana,find out about Radhika Mishra,everything,right?"Rana replied yes.
