Okay so Deepika Padukone has a huge amount of followers on social media...for this post lets focus on twitter coz that seems to be the account she controls herself

Deepika did not tweet ANYTHING about the chennai floods...not even one retweet...almost every other big or small indian celebrity managed to tweet something n give some support... She will retweet non stop about Tamasha and anything related to her/or her movies but is silent when it is about helping others.

Same thing happened during Piku...she retweeted everything related to her movie but nothing for the Nepal Earthquake which happened around the same time

How do you know everyone tweeted? Did you see every star writing in twitter? how do u know if she supported or not supported there are so many useless celebs who write one line in social media but does not help financially. Does all personal help all personal charity need to be declared from social media?

DP herself has said her IG and Twitter accounts are mostly handled by her team...she randomly posts but they do everything

Because it's obvious? Because a professional like her doesn't have time to sit and retweet a million tweets? And because, like another user has said here, she herself said so.

NewsFlash: She and her family donated for the Nepal earthquake and didnt just tweet a line sympathizing but actually giving out monetary support... and she talked about it not just tweet about it. Too bad you are only fixated on her twitter page. Let people not announce the amount they give for charity on social media. Did Anushka announce how much she contributed for MAMI Fest on Twitter page? Nope. Some people probably dont believe in tweeting about donations.. you see. 😊

The point is that these days celebrities can actually make a difference by retweeting emergency numbers, contact details of people who can help etc etc...it is not just about monetary support...times have changed. And if her team is handling her account then they have a one track mind jus like she does.

Yes not every charity has to declared. But for example the cricketer Ashwin's parents were stranded in Chennai and he still played for India...he gave a comment that it was heartening for him to see so many people tweet/retweet for Chennai n provide support

Make up your mind you want her to do some actual donating stuff .. which she did (does) or retweet numbers or tweet? You need to take your mind off her Twitter... how many threads you are going to make on what she tweeted and retweeted. This is probably the 5th. Make your next on what picture she should be tweeting next. 👍🏼

Salman, Aamir and Ranveer I follow them and I didnt see them RTing numbers or tweeting about it. So you mean they are not big stars or you are only interested in Deepika?!
