What happened to Deepika's star power? Besharam had a new actress yet it still fared better 😆 wait wait...let me guess what Deepika fans will say ...they will say that Besharam opened big because the hype and residue of YJHD was still around Ranbir which is why it benefited from that? Rightt? 😆

I haven't seen DP's actual fans hype up her star power...most of the times its two groups who do that ...the ones who dislike SRK and the ones who dislike Ranbir...these two groups use DP as a bait and try to put down Ranbir/SRK by saying that these two are saved by DP's starpower😆...so u have to ask them now...what happened to DP's star power now😆

Yeah let's simplify the situation cuz it works in your favour right? Number of screens, male lead's "star power", etc., none of that is taken into account.

As for Deepika's fans hyping her fan power, please do point me to userS who hype her star power like crazy, are we a collective bunch who just scream about her BO pull? Or have you spotted a lone wolf and decided to use that person to generalize all of us?

Yes but shouldn't it also work with Deepika's success too. Tamasha came right after Piku, RL, CE ect..Deepika's popularity is all time high. So the fact that Besharam..with no hit music and a new face opened better than Tamasha is shocking.

What amount you want? 40 cr? 20 cr? With lesser screen, what do you expected? BV dull at BO with more than Tamasha screen. You want to compare with screen, you can compare it with TWMR which is almost equal screen

TWMR = 2200 scrn india

Tamasha = 2100 screen india

But, the content? TWMR was sequel movie, so fans already saw & knew about TWM. So it wrk

Tamasha have several things :

1. new content movie

2. not rom com

3. Ranbir Kapoor - ya... his recent movie BV created big history as the most flop movie in Bollywood (big budget, 3500 screen,totally rejected by worldwide). Moreover, this movie totally about his (Ranbir Kapoor) character. So, understandable some people rejected this movie because of him. But, I never said Ranbir is a bad actor. Hes an item in Tamasha, Without him, Tamasha is nothing. Most of people knew this is not Deepika's. Just like BM, everyone knew the movie is more about Bajirao.

^ Are you saying on Friday..when most reviews didn't even come out (most ppl am sure don't even read those) knew that Tamasha was Ranbir's film and not Deepika's. Hence the lower opening?
