There is a hunt going on nowdays to find the real Rizwan Khan, the malevolent one who has only one purpose in life -revenge and to popular belief or should I say by Shergill's belief, he is worse than that of animals , driven by crude animal instincts. So let us try to search Rizwan Ahmed khan too -kaun hai yeh Rizwan? I guess we all are trying to figure ot out each day and it has been only a failure. The answer is too difficult , but still if I want to describe him in few words then it will surely be apt to say A man living in darkness yet enfolded in light. Thus dedicating one of my favorite line to this pai fully attractive man-ANDHERE KO BAHHON ME LEKE UJALE NE GHAR BASAYA HAI. 💔

Does Rizwan Ahmed khan take pleasure in living in agony? Or he is so accustomed to the underneath darkness that he has succumbed to his fate unknowingly? He is so used to nothingness that I guess now it scares him to keep anything as his own. Thats why he wants to give away everything he has to secure future of his loved ones , with whom he is only attached with heart minus the blood relations. Does that make him a predator like an animal?

"Na hi main kuch leke aya tha aur na hi kuch main leke jaunga"-A man who came with a purpose and no strings attached Is so so aware of his reality despite of being a facade, that it tears your heart each time knowing he is a man who has nothing to lose as he himself does not want to hold onto anything. I guess it frightens him that it will slip away faster if he wants to grip it tightly. Is that his conscience or his guilt?I wonder thinking why he is so good that it woukd cause the end of him.

The best scene surely belonged to Rizwan and his Preet. I adored the scene where Preet gifted all the memories which has sweetened their life of togetherness. Rizwan is scarred by haunting memories-of loss, of fear, of destruction. Thus when he gets flooded with sweet memories which helps him to live , to escape from his reality, its nothing but a beautiful poignant moment. 😳 The follwing scene was the show stealer for me, a very ironic yet a true confession from the man - Mere paass tumhe dene ke liye kuch hai hi nahi. He has given hope to Preet, has given her and kavya a sheltered life , has given him immense love and affection to feel the emotions yet again, but still he has nothing of his own to offer to his beloved. He knows that and thus it brings those salty tears in his eyes. But still he is the man with a genuine heart which we all so love, gathers courage and finally gifts something which was his only belobging from his past life to the woman whom he feels so deeply connected to. The taveez given by his mother-the shield of protection. He gives up his shield making himself endangered just to protect the beloevd in near tomorrow where he dies not see his own presence. He knows his time is numbered by days yet he wants to live LIFE to the fullest. Sounds like a dying man's last wish. Zindaggi yumhare saath puri tarah jeena chahta hun broke my heart knowing that there would be no life left in him when he has to depart from the love. Heart wrenching , humane , painted with rich colors of pain. Thank you writers for giving me this character who makes me write about feelings, human emotions -a key factor for the very existence of human life. Greatness fatigues me and I am glad this protagonist is not preaching greatness but trying yo make things little better gor people whom he loves. Makes him one of a kind. 😳 ⭐️ 👏 I dont know why I feel so attached to this character, I guess thats the charm of it-A man who is supposed to be hated is pulling our heart strings the most.BEAUTIFUL is the word for him, his andhere me ujale ka safarnama is spectacular and spell binding.

A special mention to the actor who portrays it onscreen so effortlessly. I have seen Iqbal khan over the years, but this role takes him a notch above. Each scene, each emotion so minutely gets enacted by the man that it makes me flabbergasted at times knowing that its just acting. A big thumbs up For choosing a role like this that too in a meDIum as cliche as indian television where male leads are nothing but props showing their muscles. Thanks Mr khan for using your facial muscles the most to steal our heart, a very rare trait among tv actors nowdays. 😳

What a fantastic piece this is. 👏
Payal, take a hug! 🤗
It is indeed extremely difficult to pen down our thoughts on this man cause of his impeccable, flawed characterisation.
What makes him such a hero is the fact he is a terribly flawed human being but has a heart to love flawlessly!
He is a man who knows how to rise above blood relations and love the people around him for having loved a homeless man like him with utmost honesty.
He is a man who himself is scarred but tries to be that soothing balm on his beloved's scars.
Now how beautiful is that? And how many of us can really do that?
Coming from a terrorist organization, with a mission in his heart, what was his need to emotionally engulf himself in this web of relationships? He could have maintained his limits and just done his job for which he was assigned. But, no!
Rizwaan Ahmed Khan is a man who knows how to love and love with all his heart and soul. He wants nothing but the love and affection of those with whom he might not have blood ties but are a prime reason for his existence- his family, his Preet!

Every time he promises to be by her side, I have a lump in my throat thinking how ironical this statement will turn out to be. Perhaps he himself knows it. He knows that after a few days he won't be there physically to protect her, to be by her side cause his real identity will not give him the RIGHT to do so!
So what does this man do? He gives her the tabeez that is a symbol of protection and tells himself that it will be his ammj's blessings that will always be Preet's guardian angel and protect her against all adversities.
For a man whose life is constantly under threat, that is such a selfless gesture! Selfless will be too less a word to describe the magnanimity of his feelings and emotions that he feels for Preet.
So does this man push himself a bit more towards danger? Or will it be Preet who will save him? Cause their destinies are intertwined by the divine forces, and no mortal has the power to nullify that.😳
What a beautiful tale of two lovers. RizReet are making me fall in love with LOVE.❤️

What do I write about this enigma Rizwaan Khan? Preet's meetha sa Ladoo and Aag ka Gola and what do I write about this sweet, lovable Preet Kaur Bhullar? Rizwaan's atte se baat karne wali Pataka Punjaban. I can't write about them as standalone cause Preet bina Rizwaan nahi aur Rizwaan bina Preet nahi.

Yaadein and Protection..Riz gave his Taweez to Preet so that it would give her protection even after he is gone...it carried a much more pious significance than a mangalsutra that is removed after the husband is gone.

Preet gave all the 4 saal worth of Yaadein to Rizwaan... Not Ishaan.. It's only Rizwaan now. The presence of Lord Ganesha. A God of new beginnings and remover of obstacles. New beginnings for Preet and Rizwaan..that's what it is..isn't it?

A God who has a vision into the past as well as the future. Who cautions us to look where we have come from and where we are about to go.

It gave us a subtle point of view here I felt about religion...that religion is not about which one you follow or which one is superior. But the real belief in religion and customs lies in the fact that how it gives you strength, vision to love others and also value the life given to you not by God but Nature. If religion is followed not just by following its teachings at the face value but by understanding the symbolisms behind it teachings we will understand that every religion speaks about the same things...'Love for another Life'

The poignant scene that screamed 'LOVE' without even once mentioning that word. About what Preet unknowingly said "I have nothing to fear from
Rizwaan Bizwaan because you are there to protect me..." Rizwaan
himself...

My emotions are jumbled.. Such was the power of that scene...👏

Thank you Sohini. Hugs you back dear. 🤗

Let me say as much as we are trying to identify real Rizwan, he himself is trying to find himself too. Undoubtedly yet to find himself. I guess he can surely justify saying- kisi manzar pe msin ruka nahi, kabhi khud se bhi mila nahi, yeh gila toh hai main khafa nahi.

He embodies pain and Hooda family and Preet 's love just help him in his catharsis. That shikayyetein song from Lootera is so Rizwan that I am just awstruck about the lyrucs fitting him so easily. Churaya tha jo chukaya hai is so apt in his words giving up every materialistic thing in his name. I so wish some one makes a vm on him with this song.

Ek jeet tu tu hai, ek haar main hun,
Haar jeet jode jo taar main hun.

Rizwan's love for preet cant be described better than this. 🥺

I would just say Raveena that the way you described the roka scene-brilliant would be the understatement. 👏

Loved the way you make the connotation of ganpati being there in that shagun ki thaal. Plus the DIVINE knowing all about us, its him who takes us through the quest of life, and helps us to sirvive. Hope he blesses these two souls who are so deepky connected. Your reference to religion and its true meaning is heart felt, thought provoking. Thanks for those lines dear friend. I hope we as a race get awareness enough to put these words into practice to make this world a better place.

Rizwan saying Main tumhe kuch nahi hine dunga and preet repkying jab tak tum mere saath ho koi rizwan bizwan kuch nahi kar sakta mera to the man himself from whom she is trheatened shows a beautiful irony! An irony called DESTINY , which has brought them together ! One without the other is not going to live I suppose!
