Does Rizwan Ahmed khan take pleasure in living in agony? Or he is so accustomed to the underneath darkness that he has succumbed to his fate unknowingly? He is so used to nothingness that I guess now it scares him to keep anything as his own. Thats why he wants to give away everything he has to secure future of his loved ones , with whom he is only attached with heart minus the blood relations. Does that make him a predator like an animal?
"Na hi main kuch leke aya tha aur na hi kuch main leke jaunga"-A man who came with a purpose and no strings attached Is so so aware of his reality despite of being a facade, that it tears your heart each time knowing he is a man who has nothing to lose as he himself does not want to hold onto anything. I guess it frightens him that it will slip away faster if he wants to grip it tightly. Is that his conscience or his guilt?I wonder thinking why he is so good that it woukd cause the end of him.
The best scene surely belonged to Rizwan and his Preet. I adored the scene where Preet gifted all the memories which has sweetened their life of togetherness. Rizwan is scarred by haunting memories-of loss, of fear, of destruction. Thus when he gets flooded with sweet memories which helps him to live , to escape from his reality, its nothing but a beautiful poignant moment. 😳 The follwing scene was the show stealer for me, a very ironic yet a true confession from the man - Mere paass tumhe dene ke liye kuch hai hi nahi. He has given hope to Preet, has given her and kavya a sheltered life , has given him immense love and affection to feel the emotions yet again, but still he has nothing of his own to offer to his beloved. He knows that and thus it brings those salty tears in his eyes. But still he is the man with a genuine heart which we all so love, gathers courage and finally gifts something which was his only belobging from his past life to the woman whom he feels so deeply connected to. The taveez given by his mother-the shield of protection. He gives up his shield making himself endangered just to protect the beloevd in near tomorrow where he dies not see his own presence. He knows his time is numbered by days yet he wants to live LIFE to the fullest. Sounds like a dying man's last wish. Zindaggi yumhare saath puri tarah jeena chahta hun broke my heart knowing that there would be no life left in him when he has to depart from the love. Heart wrenching , humane , painted with rich colors of pain. Thank you writers for giving me this character who makes me write about feelings, human emotions -a key factor for the very existence of human life. Greatness fatigues me and I am glad this protagonist is not preaching greatness but trying yo make things little better gor people whom he loves. Makes him one of a kind. 😳 ⭐️ 👏 I dont know why I feel so attached to this character, I guess thats the charm of it-A man who is supposed to be hated is pulling our heart strings the most.BEAUTIFUL is the word for him, his andhere me ujale ka safarnama is spectacular and spell binding.
A special mention to the actor who portrays it onscreen so effortlessly. I have seen Iqbal khan over the years, but this role takes him a notch above. Each scene, each emotion so minutely gets enacted by the man that it makes me flabbergasted at times knowing that its just acting. A big thumbs up For choosing a role like this that too in a meDIum as cliche as indian television where male leads are nothing but props showing their muscles. Thanks Mr khan for using your facial muscles the most to steal our heart, a very rare trait among tv actors nowdays. 😳
