I am very sorry for a late update but I was caught up with somethings and this got delayed. Here is a small update for all you readers! Enjoy!

Part 4

Ananya Kashyap

You cannot make out the feeling that you're experiencing currently. Somewhere you feel it is austere excitement but then you think it can be slight apprehension as well. Moreover, you cannot stop yourself from ruling out fear and/or curiosity from your mind either.

You have been lost in your own world after hearing the news about his arrival. And, you cannot be blamed for your behaviour. After all, you have been eagerly waiting for this moment for months now.

There is so much that you want to tell him and ask him. And, you know he is your first and maybe the last resort of finding about your Dad and proving his innocence.

You have not for once stopped rehearsing about your first meeting with him. With every attempt you have started to believe that it is not as difficult as you thought before.

But, is it really that easy?

Don't hope for too much,' your mind advises you but you remember that your dad had once told you that there is hope until the last breath.

Finally, you have made up your mind. No matter how difficult it is, it is possible.

You enter the office and find a good deal of commotion around. You realise that everyone is just busy following Khalid's order. He wants to welcome back the Editor-in-Chief in a perfect way.

You fail to understand why Khalid is so besotted with the EIC? But, then you think about it again and you realise you are wrong - that man deserves all the appreciation for his incredible work.

You see him enter minutes later and engage in a serious conversation with Khalid and Malvika while the rest of the staff stand there doing almost nothing except for staring.

Your first thought had been to rush towards him and just state the reason of your existence in KKN.

The second thought had been, I hope he does not consider me crazy for doing that!

But, you knew this is not the right time and you need to wait.

However, you find no harm in moving towards his direction to introduce yourself at least. As you take the first few steps in his direction you see him giving you a look'.

A look' that you are trying to make sense of but you are unsuccessful as those hypnotizing dark brown eyes keeps drawing you towards them.

You stand in front of him struggling with words when you hear him speak and your entire world comes fizzling down.

He says that he does not consider you worthy of working for KKN and gives you that same look' again.

Now, you perfectly understand what that look meant. He did not like you because you are here on Ronnie's recommendation and not on your merit.

You want to explain him that you have been working very hard as a junior reporter here and have also gained appreciation for your work and that though you got the job through Ronnie but after all these months of struggle now you deserve this job.

But, before you can do that he throws a task towards you.

'Get me a sensational story within a week to prove your caliber and stay here otherwise..'.

You don't even let him complete his sentence and without hesitation accept his challenge.

Your journey to your purpose is not going to be as easy as you thought but it is possible; the only thing you have to do is keep trying and trying!
