I find Raj the better Father.
he knows how to handle kids; He gives Ria her space m at the same time repreminds her on her mistake. Like today the way he made realise Ria the mistake she commited. He is more of a bridge b/w Ria n Nikki.

As for kulwinder he is more of conservative father. He wants to protect his culture more than his children. Instd of thinking of their betterment he is sticking to his so-old believes. I think he cannot adjust ti changes easily. He is not thinking once the oppurtunity his children can get.

The main difference b/w Raj n Kulwinder lies in that former knows to respect other's POV whereas the latter is never wanting to think from 2nd POV.

I feel suri needs to be more stronger to stand aginst kulwinder. As for kulwinder he has his mother to feel his ears against suri.

Suri n nikki n d kids have alot to go through in future.

I wonder if kulwinder is so adament abt his culture n snding his childrn to small skul to keep their sanskar alive, WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN MAUSAM WILL ENTER AS LOVE INTEREST AGAINST JOGI????😲

Now we don't have an instance to compare right? Kulwinder's kids haven't made any mistakes yet for us to see how he reacts..😆

I wouldn't say Kulwinder isn't thinking about the betterment of his children. He wants his children to be disciplined and cultured and he feels the Gurudwara school is the appropriate one for them. See Jogi...😆 He has to be disciplined and Kulwinder fears his kids would go out of hands when put in an International school which is his opinion. He has seen Ria and her behavior and that's not an ideal behavior for him. He doesn't want his kids like them. He is old fashioned and I don't see anything wrong in that. He had accepted to Suri's wishes and relocated his entire family which shows he does see and respect others views, don't you think? Also...Rs 20000 pm for one kid...that's Rs 40000 for two kids...Can Kulwinder really afford that? He has the pressure of running the family...He has his parents with him which Raj doesn't have. Kulwinder's job may not equal Raj's clinic, right? And he is absolutely right. First it's the school, then amenities will change...expensive clothes and lifestyle...where will he go? For him...according to his status, he is providing with all the facilities he could for his children. He feels the children are happy...the day he feels they aren't, he might do anything for them then.

The main difference b/w Raj n Kulwinder lies in that former knows to respect other's POV whereas the latter is never wanting to think from 2nd POV.

I don't think neither Kulwinder or Suri gives an ear to Bebe...😆

Honestly...I am seriously not interested in teenage romance...I really hope they keep that to the minimum.

I don't know. I think Kulwinder and Raj's circumstances are different. Firstly, as Shwetha pointed out, we haven't really seen Kulwinder as a disciplinary parent. His kids haven't made mistake Yet. And their circumstances are super different. Raj seems to live an easy life -- a clinic so lot's of money, one child, no grand-parent responsibilities, living in a city he's been in for years and hence is comfortable, etc. Kulwinder, on the other hand, not sure about his job but he deff doesn't seem as rich, has two children to think about along with parents, has recently settled in a city where he's unaware of how things work. Kulwinder is in a different situation. On the whole tho, yeah I think Raj is more chilled out than Kulwinder.

But I'd also have to disagree that Kulwinder doesn't want kids betterment. The entire purpose of moving to Delhi was to enchance the opportunities Jassi could get. He moved for his kids. The only reason he wants to go back now is because he doesn't know how to handle the change and because he's worried that his kids (who are perfectly fine in his eyes in the first place), might get spoilt due to the new place and would expect more from him than he could provide.

I think Surinder is pretty strong anyway. She gets her point across. For sure the imbalance between the two couples is there. Kulwinder-Surinder in general seem to share more of a conservative relationship. That's why I also think the show will focus on parent's marriage this season too.

As for Jogi, I desperately hoping we won't see any OTT love track or anything. I think the way he mentioned how his family basically ignored him for Jassi would definitely play a role there? Maybe they won't care about the girl? Or maybe she'll be a wakeup call for them -- making them realize they've been neglecting Jogi this entire time?

Raj is the more chilled out one definitely. I find him to be a sensible man. He understands the kid, doesn't always pressurize her, but did put his foot down when she did something wrong. But he doesn't force her to follow his wishes, something both the mums are doing. She is an individual and has her likes and dislikes and he understands and respects that. Though he is settled well in life so that does allow him some leeway to be cool, but seeing his nature, it's not far fetched to say that he would be able to handle bad situations calmly.

Kulwinder is not a bad father or person per se, but he does has some glaring shortcomings. He isn't ready to consider anything out of the closed bubble he has defined as the right way to live life. He thinks anything Raj's family does is wrong just because they have more money and they live in the city. He has more prejudice against Raj because of the latter's money but Raj doesn't hold anything against Kulwinder. Till now we have seen only Kulwinder speaking ill of the other family but never has Raj said anything. He doesn't call them villagers or people with less money. Nor does he comment on their way of living. Then why should Kulwinder do it? He even went on to say he doesn't even respect them. For what? Because he was offered drink? Raj even apologized profusely because he didn't know that Kulwinder abstained from alcohol. There is nothing wrong with drinking or not drinking, it's a personal choice. Raj didn't comment on him not drinking but Kulwinder called him shameless because he was drinking in front of ladies. This shows the rigidity of his thoughts.

Kulwinder isn't bad and he too wants a good future for his kids but he needs to realize that his definition of 'good' isn't the only one and probably also not the right one.
