She doesn't. She never came off as a gold digger. It's her mother that is one. Karisma was born into a rich family. Babita has always had to struggle and tries to live through her daughter. She never made it big in bW but made sure Karisma did. I don't even know if Karisma wanted to be an actress or was forced into. Either way, if you look at Kareena and her "no one makes my life choices" you can see she is loads happier. I wish Karisma could have done that.

Karisma most definitely wanted to be an actress! No 2 ways about it! She was always very passionate about movies! According to her even her grandfather knew about this and encouraged her to become an actress! As he saw she was such an introvert but only opened up when she danced on Hindi songs! But Karisma does regret not going to university! She says so herself!

I find it funny how people are blaming Karisma just because she is a popular actress! No one even cares to bash her husband

Karisma's hubby is an asshole no doubt but I feel that even Karisma is partially responsible for her own sad state. If she had grown a spine and hadn't let Babita push her around then all of this could have been avoided. Going by the posts here she knew what kind of a man Sanjay is but she still married him instead of running in the opposite direction. Plus, both of them are with different people now even though they are still legally married so you can't really blame one person.
