Reports have been flying thick and fast that Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur may not divorce after all. Buzz is, Sunjay's mother has not been in favour of her son's girlfriend, Delhi socialite Priya Sachdev (earlier Chatwal).
So yeah, Babita's daughter and her estranged husband may still not call it quits--- but Sunjay's mother is not the reason. In fact, Sunjay is still roaming khulam khulla with Priya in the streets of Delhi. 9xe spotted them exclusively a few days ago (see pic above)!
And then, we decided to get down to the nitty-gritty.
Let's tell you what we found out.
Karisma, who had tied the knot with Sunjay in 2003 and then filed for divorce in May last year, is in reconciliation mode!
Why? A few months ago, she stopped Sunjay from seeing their kids (the two have a 10-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son). And what did Sunjay do in retaliation? The man stopped sending them money.
Moreover, now Sunjay has refused to bow down to the huge alimony that she is demanding.
So why doesn't she simply wait for the Court's announcement which will grant her a certain alimony from Sunjay? That definitely won't be peanuts. A source close to Sunjay explains, "Karisma might get alimony but that sum would be just about one-tenth of Sunjay's wealth. Considering his wealth, why should she settle for such a small amount?"Meanwhile, an out-of-court settlement is ruled out because Sunjay is again in no mood to see her off with a huge sum.What has also made the situation worse for Karisma is her relationship with Sandeep Toshniwal, CEO of Eurolife Healthcare Pvt Ltd. "Their relationship has no future because Sandeep's wife Ashrita is not ready to sign on the divorce papers. In such a scenario, how does Karisma's high-maintenance life go on?"
Where do they go from here? So complicated, so sad.
