Colors' popular weekend show Naagin (Balaji Telefilms) continues to enjoy its supremacy and numero uno position on the ratings chart.
The last week saw Shivanya (Mouni Roy) getting married to Ritik (Arjun Bijlani) in order to avenge him and kill him.
Post the wedding, Shivanya will be in a confused state of mind, as she will start recollecting her mother's wishes of her having a good first night and happy married life. This will trouble her all the more, and she will go to the Shiv temple to seek God's blessings so that she can calmly carry out her revenge action.
This weekend's episode will bring a soul-stirring taandav dance of Mouni wherein she will seek a clear mind from God.
At the end of the dance, there will be a new entry in the show, that of actor Manoj Verma, who is an actor cum director. He is actress Utkarsha Naik's husband.
As per credible sources, "Manoj will play the role of Yogiraj, the head tantrik who would be called by Kattaka Bhairav to bless Shivanya in her revenge mission and give her more powers."
Yogiraj will be a very learned Shiv Bhakt, who would actually be like a messenger of Lord Shiv. And when Shivanya will seek his blessings, he will bless her with the words, Sada suhaagan raho' instead of blessing her for revenge. This will shock both Kattaka and Shivanya, but the wise man will tell them that this is Lord Shiva's words, and he has no say in it.
With this blessings, will Shivanya's destiny change? Will she become the protector of Ritik?

When contacted, Manoj told us, "Yes, I am entering Naagin. This will be a running character, and Yogiraj will be the head of tantriks with a lot of divinity and grace on him."
