I am sorry for the delay guys, i just had to watch it more time to gain my senses and able to write something about this painfully beautiful character.

Rizwan Ahmed Khan - ap hum sab ki jaan le kar hi choren gey!

He is vulnerable , he is innocent, he is in love and yet he is alone. That was what it was in today's episode, yes many of us may find sana being his love guide quite odd but i found them adorable and cute today, balke according to me Sana is the only person who can listen Rizwaan out. Mtlb that person is going through the biggest and the worst turmoil of his life and he practically has NO ONE, atleast sana can listen, and as she did today, sort of pamper him too, tu hamare rizwaan ka mood karab ho gaya? That was adorable, and something he needed. How far do we expect him to go off alone? and also, she is there to instigate one of the most important questions of his life - kya tumhain Preet se muhabbat hai?

Mohabbat, i am so glad the used this word, instead of the cliched, pyaar ho gaya hai k nai? Mohabbat comes with so much passion, so much purity, so much depth than the regular pyaar, and rizwaan .. his reply .. this person wears his heart on his sleeve.

"Us k sath sukkon ka ehsaas hai .. kuch bhi kar jaane ka ehsaas hai"

Th way rizwaan looks at Preet makes you fall in love with him, his touch has that authority that a husband has over his wife. He holds her wrist, pins her against walls with her shoulders, he is desperately and hopelessly falling in love with his wife but he knows the outcome.

Today he confessed the outcome .."agar pyaar ka naam de diya tu main tu is ghar se ja hi nai paon ga" .. How helpless can a person get?

Camouflaging his feelings because he is scared at the vulnerability of his own heart. Renaming his emotions because he is too scared of his own heart, and running away from his feelings because he knows he will surrender to his own heart. His own heart will revolt and he wouldn't have a choice.

He cannot, even for a single second, live in the bliss of accepting his love. He has to run away from it, refute it, negate it and hide it .. because what he is has is a water bubble, an image floating on fog, a shadow in smoke .. and you dont bet on smoke, fog and water. They all evaporate.

You are spot on about Rizwan. This man is not one of those guys we meet often in our lives. He is someone who is so similar yet so different.

His entire perception about love and affection mesmerises me. He has craved for 'apnapan' ever since he was a little kid who saw his parents getting killed in front of his eyes. The terrorist group head must definitely have had given him shelter and a mission to feed upon, but not the warmth he deserved. Hence he has grown longing for that touch of warmth all his life. And it's Preet who has filled the coldness of his heart with the warmth of her love and care. And why only Preet, the entire Hooda family to be honest.

This feeling of being wanted is a major feeling everyone wants to witness. It's a part of the human psyche where you want to feel 'wanted' and this family and Preet have always made him feel that. Whether it was during the terrorist attack or during the other RizReet encounters, Preet has always been vocal about how important was his mere presence in her life and that kind of augmented his sense of belonging to these people.

'Uss ke liye kuch kar jaane ka ehsaas'

This! This is what happens when someone binds you with selfless love. and Preet has done exactly that. When you know someone loves you unconditionally without the hope, without any demands, it is then when you want to cross all 'hadein' to pay respect to that emotion of selflessness. Rizwan just wants to do that. He just wants to love her for loving a broken man like him. He just wants to love her for nurturing that young boy within him with that warmth.😳

Loved the way how you explained that Rizwaan is a art of our everyday life yet there is something so distinct about him.

Yes his entire life he had been craving for that feeling of belonging and Preet came in to fill that void. He has been Preet's first priority since 5 years. How true is it when you write that Preet ahs been selflessly there for Rizwan since the past 5 years and he feels indebted to her. Indebted and all in awe to the woman who loved him so much.

@bold .. this left me teary. Beautifully written. This line is surely gonna go in our rizwaan nama !

The mirror scenes are so symbolic.. We have got them an n number of times.. Both look at each other mesmerised.. And Rizwaan wants to live in that alternate world the mirror reflects.. A world in which he has no complications.. A world where he can love Preet and his family without his guilt boggling him down.. An alternate world he dreams of where Preet will accept Rizwaan. Preet too craves for a world where Ishaan loves only her and there are no Meghana memories to pull Ishaan away. Ishaan cannot speak out his love for Preet.. That would be the final nail in the coffin for Rizwaan.. oh what a situation to be in..

God what an epi and you just can't help from falling in love with Rizwan

You just feeling like going through the Tv/lappy/mobile screen and giving him atight tight heart to heart bear hug...uff...

I really love his and Sana's bond... For the last 6 years Sana has been the only person he can be Rizwan with...she knows him as both Rizwan her college as well as Ishaan Hooda...

He's always had Sana to talk too...about everything...and once again when she calls to ask about the mission...we gave Rizu ranting...and the conversation that followed...loved...

Like you I too loved the word "Mohobath" being used the a simple Pyar...as Ptar us not the same as Mohobath at all...what Rizwan feels for Preet us more then love...and the way he tells Sana...it can't be love or I won't be able to leave...said it all...and Sana expressions showed she understood his point...

The whole Rizeet scene from the time they wake up to the dinning table to the fall just loved loved loved...

Loved how he started to eat those Parathhas...loved the looks he was giving her... Loved him trying to talk to her but her giving him attitude and his..."...Punjaban..." line...

He so wants to hear her confession of love...even though he can't admit to himself that he's fallen in love too...tst what he feels for Preet is that and more...

Different people have different demands,needs and expectations in relations, the one who has deprived of love needs love, the one who was deprived of respect they prioritise respect over love and here we have Rizwan Ahmed Khan who was deprived of all emotions

He was deprived of his apne, he was deprived of his sukoon, he was deprived of love, he was deprived of sense of belongingness and he was deprived of life

The most important thing for him is Apnapan and Sukoon, he does need love too but its secondary.

Preet's friendship and care has given him the Apnapan, with Preet he feels the sense of belongingness. Whenever Preet do something for him-be it anything, he feels finally there is someone to whom he belongs, someone who cares for him like none did, someone who can do anything to take away his pains and paint a smile on his face.

Same Preet has also been a source of "Sukoon" in his life which he was searching since childhood. He was never at peace after his parents death, he was constantly in this revenge mood, he was so much into hatred that he never felt at peace. But slowly he started finding solace in her company. Whenever he is Preet, he simply forgets whole world. He listens her banter, teases her for her actions and words, he simply behaves like a sweet guy who have no worries in his life.

If we notice, Preet and Ishaan's fun conversatin, we can easily make out the "Sukoon" on Rizwan's face.

I loved this Apnepan and Sukoon ka rishta rather than pyar ka rishta.

I also loved the use of word "Mohabbat" in place of Pyar.

To me, the word Pyar means a subtle and sweet feeling but when ISHQ and MOHABBAT are used it gives the feeling of passion for someone and i loved both these words compared to pyar❤️

Ishq and Mohabbat ahve a deep and great impact when used 😊

Yes we have had two successive mirror scenes now and they both look into their alter reality and dream of being with each other in a perfect world, but alas .. as soon as they shift their eyes, the hard hitting realities of this world bite them! and they go back to their denials!

yes everybody craves for the thing they have been deprived for,, and Rizwaan's entire life struggled to find one person who could give him that sense of belonging, warmth and Preet who has able to fill his void is now. Every time he is with Preet, as you pointed out, he is at peace, even when he was fighting, he wasn't facing the life threatening dilemma which is eating him minute by minute! haye!
