Kyon ki tum hi ho, Ab tum hi ho- EPI 6

Yes, I just used a line from an overplayed Bollywood song as the title. I wanted to use something else but I'm listening to this song a lot and I thought it was perfect because rithik finally realized "it's her." So thanks Rithik, for waking up at last.

Story wise, there was not much happening in the episode but I still enjoyed it very much. The show's rapid pace is its biggest strength, and if they keep building an intriguing story then the audience will stick around.

I won't focus too much on the details and will only talk about the most important parts.

A lot of people were uncomfortable with the way Rithik openly stared at Shivanya while he was already committed to tanvi. Many assumed it is because rithik did not know what he was doing and I guess they were right because as soon as he realized what is happening, he took responsibility for his actions by coming clean to his fiance. My respect for rithik grew tenfold because of his honesty. how many guys have the guts to do what he did? He may not love tanvi but she is still his best friend, and no one can hurt their friend like this. Friendship and one sided love are not enough, too bad Tanvi does not understand this. Rithik is her "zidd" not love. If she loved him or even considered him a friend first, then she should have freed him from this so called marriage. I get where she is coming from, she "loved" him for 10 years, to come so close then lose out to a another girl in 10 days is hard to digest. But what she is doing so selfish, not to mention that she is trapping her friend in a lifetime of misery.

However, the way rithik conveyed everything to tanvi was beautifully done. It was mix between devastation, desperation and guilt. He wanted the best for his friend but at the same time, he wanted to get out of this hollow relationship because he is in love with someone else. I can't believe tanvi was so unfair. My heart completely broke seeing rithik walk aimlessly around the streets. I guess he is finally seeing his life fall apart right in front of his eyes but cannot do anything about it. What a miserable situation all around.

Rithik and Shivanya scenes were nice, however the trip-fall-catch scene was unnecessary.. Still I enjoyed it. My favourite scene was when shivanya so gently wiped the haldi from his eyes, that was beautiful and so was that part when rithik stops her from applying haldi on him. There was so much intensity and passion in that scene. These two share amazing chemistry. By the way, why is shivanya looking at him with a pained expression? Is she trying to convince rithik that she is in love with him too? Actually, I don't know what is going on in her mind regarding rithik. Spoilers say she tries to kill him, is it because she wants Ankush to feel the pain of losing a loved one, just like she did? None of her revenge monologues mention rithik, so why does she even want to marry him? I'm so confused, the story seems really twisted to me.

Viren is digusting, his dialogues make me cringe. Good that he is getting what he deserved. No sympathy or forgiveness for men who choose to mess with women.

Initially, shivanya's character was missing the bite(no pun intended) but now I see it. Mouni is doing a great job portraying a vengeful naagin, not to mention she is looking gorgeous even in the simplest outfits.

Right now shivanya's feelings towards Ritik is nothing definite which is why Ritik in the current life is the "bechara of the millennium" best friend who is selfish family untruthful to him, and his love is after him and his family. Shivanya foes know Ritik will die if he doesn't get married before his bday yet she wants to stop the wedding to let him die. And above all Ritik is going through such heartbreaking.

I dont think Rittik has yet realised he has fallen for Shivanya. He has surely realised he is attracted to her. But he blamed himself as ghatiya.

the 2nd ep itself, when ritik falls off the cliff...i liked how the writers made him gain consciousness nd start the ascent up on his own...had the snake not come ritik would have needed no help frm shivanya...this however im sure were gonna be seeing a lot in the coming eps(what wth the somewhat inevitable sesha shiv battle) but please let ritik remain a MAN😆😳...a guy who hopefully wont play second fiddle to his wife nd mother nd who wont constantly need saving frm the heroines of the show like in other hindi soaps...

yes, rithik is such a honorable man and a very strong character. even I hope he does not become a mute spectator to his wife and mother's shenanigans.

his convo with tanvi was the highlight of the ep for me...well written dialouges and beautifully executed by both arjun nd the actress...i really hope they dont turn tanvi into a full fledged dark charcter in the show later...ryt now she just seems to b a stubborn juvenile spoilt brat who belives herself to b in love with her best friend...i dont sympathise with her but can see where shes coming from...

that was the best part of the epi for me as well. rithik is a gem of a person, not everyone is brave enough to be honest. tanvi is an interesting character, i don't sympathize with her either but definitely see where she is coming from. unfortunately, she has the all the markings of a typical vamp.

mouni was superb in the negative scenes today...enjoyed them thoroughly...this girl can be innocent charming seductive and all out evil in the same episode...what a find i feel she

Mouni is a phenomenal actress. she can be vicious, innocent, and seductive all at once. she definitely brought the oomph factor. ekta cast the perfect girl.

is...however like you i fail to understand all the angsty looks shes throwing at ritik...at one moment she is easily chatting up wth him regarding his wedding(when she came to his room) and then on the other she acts as if his marriage to another girl is seriously bothering her...unless shes falling in love with him...which im sure she is...but i hope the creatives pay a bit more attention to playing out these feelings...i just dont want it to be a hurried and half baked attempt later...

that is where I am confused as well. what are those angsty looks for? is she subconciously falling in love with him as well? when she looks at him, she thinks about her parents not him. they need to clear this and also give us a little more insight to her feelings about rithik.

and i think i must be the only one in the forum who dosent see any reason for the rivanya marriage track to place...dont take me wrong..i love rivanya nd will revolt against ek maai if they dont get their happily evr after...but for me it seems completely unnecessary...if all she wants to do is bite ritik then she can easily do that wout marrying him nd shes been having ample of opportunities too...

you are the only one, everyone thinks it is unnecessary but since it is happening whether we like it or not, we are just trying to sit back and enjoy. despite that all the odds are against them, I demand a happy ending for them. I don't care how it happens.

all in all an enjoyable watch😃...just a bit more detailing to mounis character from the creatives side
