New Delhi: Amid reports of Bigg Boss 9 contestant Rimi Sen being paid a staggering Rs 2 crores as signing amount to take part in the popular reality TV show, eyeballs have started rolling and a few tongues have also started wagging. Rimi Sen, it was earlier revealed, had charged Rs 2 crores for Bigg Boss which is clearly much more than the winning amount (Rs 50 lakhs). Additionally, rumours are also floating around that Rimi is being paid Rs 5 lakhs per week that counts as an additional income. Bigg Boss 8 winner Gautam Gulati expressed surprise at this exorbitant payroll of Rimi.

Clearly taken aback by the reports, Gulati said that even though he had also received a "good amount' from the show, "Rs 2 crore is way too much!" In an interview with entertainment website bollywoodlife.com, Gulati expressed disbelief at the huge signing amount and added that a foreign celebrity could have been approached for the same amount. Gautam Gulati also felt that there was no truth in the reports of Rimi getting Rs 2 crores.

Well, truth or no truth, Rimi's fat wallet is clearly attracting a lot of attention!
