Rizwan in double trouble.

Uff, I thought, I wouldn't have much to write today, but with the episodes being so delightful, it's na-insaafi if I don't mention the great stuff that we have been served today :) 😳

I am not understanding Naina's character, she looks like muh pe kuch aur dil mein kuch. Why would she put the letters in Ishan's room, when she tells Sid she has no ulterior motive of making him reminisce about Meghna? She has come to spend time with Kavya, but never see her around her, always see her snooping behind Jiju and trying all sorts of uncomfortable conversations with him. " Isliye aap bahut fresh lag rahe ho, kyunki rabhi yoga karke aaye honge na?" Ummm, which saali meeting her jiju first time talks like this? How old is this Naina? In normal circumstances, if you meet your dead sister's husband for the first time, you would be a little hesitant to talk about her, considering he has moved on, and not to forget he may not want to talk about a traumatic past. you have to approach sensitive topics like that with a little apprehension and keeping someone else's comfort level in mind. She clearly has no tact. The polite thing would be to tell him that you're sorry you never had a chance to meet him when Meghna was alive, and that she would like to share a few memories of her sister's life with him, IF HE IS OK WITH DISCUSSING. Today, Ishan told her he would not like to go back into his past, and yet she went and put those letters in his room. To remind him that he loved Meghna and not his current wife? 😕

Loved Sid today. What an amazing devar, true Laxman in every sense of the word. Keeping his attraction to Naina aside, his first concern was her intentions to make friction between Preet and Ishan. The actor is also really good as Sid and I hope they show more of him, other than his maa ka laadla bigad gaya crap. He has potential and they should give him more prominence. Hope he is not stuck with this Naina, Sid deserves much much better.

Bebe, is very annoying. Just because she is concerned about Sid, will she tie him up with the next girl she sets her eyes on? Kuch toh khayal karna chahiye, that Naina is ultimately Meghna's sister and what that can mean for Preet, Kavya and Ishan? No sensitivity these people have towards such an uncomfrotable alliance and for Kavya who doesn't know the truth about her biological mother? Parents have come to enjoy Diwali muft mein it seems, nobody is actually shown having a mature conversation with Ishan and/or spending time with Kavya. :P Ab muft mein dusri beti ki shaadi karne ha ha kar rah hain? Don't understand this plot at all.

Preet, looked ravishing in the yellow saree. I am loving Mona's outfits, because all the bol colors and the bindi and her make up really looks fab on her. She hasn't looked so so good in any show before. Truly matches up to handsome Iqbal. The saree scene was nice, and again not cheesy, even though it is such a common scene in all shows. It wasn't Preet looking down shyly smiling, deep breaths, dhak dhak music, Iqbal giving her some crazy eyes. It was as one would expect the beginning of intimacy between the two of them and their history. Beautifully done. They are slowly getting comfortable and the baby steps are realistic for their story.

Preet's insecurities are being tested daily, as expected. But, what is good about this Naina's introduction is, Preet is forced to confront Ishan about their relationship, which until now she didn't have reason to. She is again and again questioning what is in his heart, and what she means to him after 4 years, now their relationship will proceed to finally accepting they love each other. Right now, I don't think Rizwan/Ishan has still understood he loves Preet. Today also, he didn't complete his sentences in his mind, " Kaisa bataaon usse ki..Kaise bolun ki ..."That is why he is not able to even completely assure Preet that he is only hers, and calm her fears about his past. Poor Preet is mistaking it for him still being in love with Meghna. For Preet also, even though she has realized she loves Ishan and wants to take steps forward, she still needs to let him know she loves him. These insecurities will make her do so. Story is moving in the right direction, with confession and then start of Rizwan's identity unfolding.

Welcoming Mr. Jay Shergill to make things interesting. Loving his intelligent character and how he is going to chase Rizwan and his buddies. Plot is thickening and it is good to keep it exciting and who doesn;t love a good chase?

Special mention to Trisha's hairtsyle. What was that thing??? She is such a pretty looking actress, just because she is shown as modern, why give her a hairstyle that is so abstract ? LOL.

Okay firstly naina, yaar i mean kya chez hai ye larki? Ap didi k kaan main aisa kya whisper karte they k wo forun se uth jaati thi? 😲😲 Nai are you in your senses? What sort of a ridiculous question is this? Such an intimate question to ask from anyone, and she is asking from a man she has met for the first time! and hasn't she being too comfortable in her jiju ranting! JIJU JIJU JIJU! You met the man for the first time yaar!

and bebe? nai is it mandatory for all ekta serials to have a third generation hovering on top? Couldn't the Hoodas live alone without a bebe? She is an extremely annoying character! Absolutely loved sid and his love for his bhabhi, and also his best friend! Honey! They share an amazing onscreen space! Love their friendship, seems very natural.

I love how characters are so humanely flawed in this serial. Preet knew they were personal letters and yet she reads them, so humane and natural and Rizwaan cannot utter a single word about Ishaan's equation with Meghna. The tension created between them seems very naturally put, and Rizwaan is in the worst mess of his life. He has the all smart raw agent, the nagging saali, the insecure wife and gyaani colleagues all attacking him at the same time.

They are keeping it fast paced the viewers on their toes, so loving everything so far, esp the oh so flawed and imperfect hero. He is wrong at so many places that you feel like shaking him and tellling him k kya kar rahe ho! You are not suppose to do this. Thats what makes a classic tragedy, where the hero's error is so glaring that the reader or the viewer wants to break the fourth wall and stop him from doing it, otherwise his downfall is evident.

You have so aptly conveyed the basic uniqueness of the show, in how flawed everyone is, especially the main lead. Usually leads are flawed, but the show tries to portray them as perfect, while we tear our hair apart. Here, the fundamental idea is that they are flawed, and yet because they are so natural and real as people, we tend to look at them more sympathetically, even someone with a background like Rizwan. Their flaws, are associable. And yes, totally right about this being such a classic tragedy, because even though you sympathize with them, sometimes you can't justify their behavior, and know that this person will have to face the consequences.

Preet is not a perfect TV soap heroine either. Her past is dark, she has a lot of baggage attached, and she cries, at the right time for the right reasons, and she stays strong when it matters. Her emotions are not hidden from her family and her imperfections are shown to be natural. Her immediate crying after the in laws visit, and her mom in law's conversation with her, was one such example. She didn't smile and be all like, welcome welcome, I have a big heart, please go and tell Kavya all about her bio mom. She was hesitant, her face had a restrain and a natural tension, which she did not hide from them. Subtle things like that, make the characters so believable and relatable.

Loved Ishan complimenting PReet in his own way in front of Naina. IT was a good subtle hint, and a much needed small assurance for Preet. Loved that too. Naina and her stupid inappropriate questions was so random. I forgot about the " what did you whisper in her ear" Ummm..totally not cool.

I liked that Ishan's mom was not comfortable with Bebe's suggestion. She didn't say much, but her expression showed her thought was about Preet and how uncomfortable this alliance is. Bebe needs to take a trip to Haridwar soon, before she sets up Sid with Naina and makes life hell for Preet, Rizwan, Kavya and us. :P

Episode was a roller coaster ride...And Jay Shergill, d quirky and smart RAW is here to make Rizwan on his toes...I am looking for this angle..instead of plain drama they had to concentrate on their other main plot...the terrorism and it gives in for a intrigue play...And d love stroy would be cherry on top...Naina..I dont even want to start with her..Her words and action looks entirely different...loved sid 2day...I must say a perfect Devar...Preet's insecurities are teased everyday..Only Rizwan's confession could stop it!!Great post b/w..Nice analysis!!!!
