Alex-Shwetha:
Good choreography, I liked their concept and Shwetha's costume and her dance were awesome (suited her very well). give them an 8/10.
Karan-Amita:
I was shocked to see that Karan, who usually dances well also screwed up this time (I think Amita's dance took a toll on him). They were very very shabby, zero coordination and the icing on the cake - they lost touch three times.Their costumes were beautiful and it promised something good to look forward to but it was very very disappointing especially after their lovely performance in the last round. Amita totally lacked the grace in postures required for that dance and it seemed like they were concentrating hard on their steps, which gave a very clumsy look to their dance. Also , Amita was totally uncomfortable in her costume which showed clearly, more than dancing she was focussing on her adjusting her dress. I still do not understand why Karan screwed up. they really deserved what they got 5/10.The choreographer put in his effort properly but he is unfortunate.
Rakhi-Abhishek:
Well, they are two great performers and entertainers. Rakhi has shown variety in her dance with each performance. Kudos, to their choregrapher who has understood what he has got in his jodi and is experimenting with Rakhi-Abhishek as much as he can (especially making Rakhi do the things which she has never done before lol). I concur with what Vidya has said, Rakhi looked 'sensuous' as against 'sexy'.I really did not expect Rakhi to pull off this kind of dance, but she marvelled and proved that she is a versatile dancer, yeah Abhishek should have had a bit more to do (that's the only flaw i saw in their performance) but then again i guess the song was such that the guy did not have much to do .Their concept was also fine, all in all totally worth 9/10 they got. This jodi totally rocks NB.
Vikas-Amita:
They are ok dancers, somehow manage to pull off whatever they do each time. The choreographers chose a great song and it was choreographed well. Vikas-Amita gave it their best shot but Amita's injury played the villain again i guess. But one thing, inspite of all their shortcomings they did not screw it up and make it look clumsy like Karan Amita. 7/10 actually 6.5/10 but iam giving the extra half mark for their very sincere effort. Also the song demanded a lot of expressions which Amita did not give, guess it would have looked better with her expressions.
Karan-Kavita:
They are fairly good performers though not great, Kavita dances well and Karan tries sincerely to catch up with her, they looked really good in their costumes especially Karan. The song they chose was also good, Kavita could have toned down a bit on the expressions like the judges said, because the song was soft and it probably required a subtle smile or a simple coy look in her eyes. Karan handled the lifts well, choreographers did a decent job but i am looking forward to some more 'sohni de nakhre' kind of stuff from them in the near future now that Karan is catching up fast.It was a simple song with simple choreography nothing great or extraordinary about it, hence a 7/10.
Amir-Sanjeeda:
This jodi is the best thing that could have ever happened to Nach Baliye 3. And thank god, they got choregraphers who are equally good, of the class of Rajeshwari-Varun's or Hussain-Tina's choregraphers. They do all difficult steps with great ease especially Amir , i refuse to believe that he is an amateur dancer. Their dance is always great, even in the previous round but the lack of concept failed them last time. And their performance this time was really awesome, they not only kept in touch as per the theme but also touched the audiences hearts deeply, the way their choreographers or whoever devised this concept so beautifully and sensitively was too good. And the choreography for the song was just perfect even without extraordinary elements, it complimented the song well. And Amir Sanjeeda handled it so well. They truly deserved the 10/10, i dunno why David cut that 1 mark(they deserved that 1 mark also).Their chemistry, their co-ordination, their expressions and their dance were impeccable! I think NB4 should be named Mega NB where they would bring in the best and talented jodis of the three seasons and make them compete against each other If star plus ever plans such a venture in future I am sure Aamir-Sanjeeda would be natural qualifiers for that.
Kashmera-Krushna:
Well, they are two good dancers with really good chemistry and thats what clicks for them always. Their co-ordination is good but I think they should do something more challenging to get the audiences to like them and vote for them. The choregraphy was good and the song they chose was also good, I liked the way they used the violin. But Kashmera being a dancer and Krushna having dance in his genes I really expect a lot more from them. 7.5/10.
Pooja-Hanif:
Dark Horses I admit. They have a smart choreographer and their performance this time was really really good and of course the 'jameen chalne lagi'step. Pooja swayed beautifully and very gracefully. But I have my reservations with respect to Hanif. I have never seen this guy 'DANCE', all he seems to be doing are either lifts or yogaasans or gymnastics or aerobics, may be he actually 'DANCED' a little bit in the fusion round. Frankly, its always Pooja who does steps and who 'DANCES'. This jodi, I feel banks only on lifts, I agree that lifts are not that easy and they are difficult too and that Hanif is doing a fabulous job of it. But I want to see him 'DANCE'and do steps which he hardly did till now, he himself being a choregrapher I expect him to "DANCE" not do aerobics or flex his body like he is exercising, he always seems content and comfortable with lifts which I do not like, I want to see how will this jodi fare in the solo round as Pooja won't be there for him to do the lifts and get away with it like he does always. As for their choregrapher, I think he is an intelligent guy with interesting thoughts in his head but I hope he concentrates on giving Hanif some steps too.Their performance this week was no doubt mindblowing but it only deserved a 9/10.
