Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will collect 11 crore nett apprx on Monday as per early estimates taking its five day collection to 133 crore nett. The film has dropped close to 60% from Sunday and the drop is a huge 72% from the first day but that was a holiday. The drop could have been worse but the extended Diwali holidays in Gujarat / Saurashtra means these circuits remain strong and will help Mumbai circuit to a total above 4 crore nett.
The story is totally different in Delhi city and East Punjab where the film has crashed on Monday. East Punjab will maybe get around 65 lakhs nett and Delhi city not be much more. UP is much better but it won't help the overall circuit much in long run, Both Delhi and East Punjab had to be 1 crore if the film was to to have a chance of sustaining.
The extended first week is probably looking at business of 155-157 crore nett which does not compare that well with Kick which also did 155 crore nett but in seven days. The Telugu and Tamil versions are a washout and will just about hit 2.25 crore nett lifetime business which is more than half of Happy New Year last year.
