BOI:PRDP has RAISED TICKET PRICES and 500 screens more compared to HNY

Q. Can Prem Ratan Dhan Payo really get a bigger day one than Happy New Year as its a huge target and a lot of predictions going around give it a lower number than Happy New Year?

Ans. Its not about can it it get a bigger day, simply put it has to get a bigger day. Its same day as last year, it has more screens (500 at last count) and ticket prices are up a little so you can't end up with lower figures as it will mean the film will probably not fulfill its potential. If it was not the same day as a Happy New Year then collecting less would not be an issue. The way things are going it should top the Happy New Year number.
