why is it kk to bash arjun for his weight but when someone calls vidya fat than everyone seems offended
i know arjun is an averege actor but arjun topics are filled with he is fat ,ugly
but if someone says that to vidya toh moral lectures milte hai aisa kyuuu

Vidya is not competing with Katrina or Deepika to do young roles where she is required to dance or be paired with a younger hero. She is doing non-glamorous roles that are suitable to her age. How much she weighs is irrelevant to the kind of roles she is choosing.

Arjun is the opposite case. He is competing for lover boy type of roles with Varun, Siddharth etc. He did an action film this year. He is paired opposite top heroines like Kareena who is very glamourous. It is natural to expect him to look charming/good looking for the roles he is choosing. If he is not able to match up to the roles with looks/acting, he will be criticized more.

Because slightly heavier guys cannot be romantic or act in love stories?

So Vidya gets a pass coz her roles are "unconventional" but you dknt get a pass if you're working in a conventional love sorry? Coz in real life only 6 pack abs fall in love, right?

It's never okay to comment on someone's weight be it Arjun or Vidya. Humans come in all shapes and sizes and shocking as it is, celebrities are humans too so they come in all shapes and sizes as well.

Cinema is a visual medium. Deal with it.

Either you are blessed with perfect genes to play the glam roles or Choose the right roles and script and shine with your acting talent.

If you cant do either like in Arjun's case, face criticism.

The day Arjun will prove his worth as a performer,people will pay attention towards his talent and less towards his overweight issues.Do we see people mocking Irfaan's looks?

Vidya got a lot of flack when she initially entered the industry,even though she looked every inch of a traditional beauty in Parineeta.And its not like it has completely stopped.She was bashed for her figure and style sense when she attended Cannes as a jury member.I specifically remember a Kareen fan dedicating "Aunty ji aunty ji get up and dance" song to Vidya back then😆.Nowadays she is out of limelight,so its out of sight and out of mind case happening here
