copied...or same ideas??

hey guys i have been noticing soo much these days that many indian tv shows are same like english or vice versa...take for example....

DMG-GREYS ANATOMY:

you can c resemblence in 5 interns...working an hospital....dr keerti is like the indain version of dr.bailey....the mystery about which daughter is padmas kinda is the same as meridith's mum having an affair with chief...SAPNA=CHRISTINA...ATUL=GEORGE....ANJALI=IZZY....

ARMAAN=ALEX and last but not least....RIDZ=MEREDITH...

i can alot of resemblence in the 2 shows....

JAISI JAISE KOIN NAHIN (SOZ DUNNO SPELLIN): UGLY BETTY

the concept of the story is the same about a not very preety girl with a hug heart getting a job at a large magazine.....now i dunno all the charaters in the indian one but...

BETTY=JAISI....ARMAAN=DANIEL.....

anotha show which i think is similar is ...

JHALAK DIKHLAGA/NACH BALIYE: DANCING WITH THE STARS----

now the concept is very very very similar u have couples from different ares of tv..etc..and they compete week after week for the end finale wateva to win....and u get to choose who u want to stay or go...simple...

anotha show ofcourse it's coppied of american tv shows or anywhere else...

we can see alot of resemblence in our indian tv and english tv..it may be a coincidence....overall i loev to see how each one truns out in the end...

so u guys no anyotha shows which resemble indain/english tv shows...plz tell....

I didnt know abt DMG being similar to Grey's Anatomy... Thanks for the info... the rest I was aware of... vaguely...

I noticed the same storyline as greys anatomy expect i think anjali is like chirstina.. more practical and sapna as izzy really good friends with george...

So much, so many scenes have been copied...nonetheless it's absolutely great to watch! 😆

well ugly betty is an adaptation of a spanish daily soap which has been made in many countries....incl. india...

n as of deal or no deal n who wants to be a millionaire...

indian production houses have been sold the rights to make a show in india...so technically no one stole anythin....itz been legally given them the right to make these shows

yeh guys i agree with all of u's i am not saying they were copied or stolen but just that they are similair...i love seeing rhe indain version....it really good...

Grey's anantomy has wayyy too much drama going on and it has too many emotions and turmoils...its more medically orientated then DMG.. I mean there are resemblances but i think DMG is like a lighter, more humorous show compared to Grey's Anatomy- I used to watch that regularly till the start of the 3rd season but i agree the concept it kind of the same- however even sanjeevani started 5 yrs ago had the concept of 4 medical interns coming into the hospital....which started before greys..
