Mouni will be seen as the protagonist 'Shivanya' on the show and in a conversation with us, she shares more about her role, taking up the show and much more. Read on to know, what she has to share...

Talking about her character on the show, she elaborated, "My character Shivanya is very simple, sweet and lovable. She is poor and is shown catering at Ritik's wedding. The story is very interesting and the character is not one dimensional. It will get more challenging. The show has nothing to do with reality and I think that this kind of fantasy fiction show will take you away from the regular life."

"I feel that if one is not ready to be committed towards a daily soap then one should not take it up and keep cribbing about it. Working with Balaji is like coming back home for me and one of the most important reason for me to say 'Yes' for this show is that it's a finite series and it will get over in few months. The story is very interesting and Ekta (Ekta Kapoor) creates some beautiful moments adorned with something special in it. I was fortunate enough to get 'Sati'. All my previous characters have been very different from each other and I have been fortunate enough to do these characters on television and they have been my favorites," added Mouni.

We also asked her about her beliefs in supernatural. She answered, "I believe that when there is good that prevails, so does evil.. but I like to believe on the positive side."

We also asked Mouni about her equation with her co-stars Arjun (Arjun Bijlani) and Adaa (Adaa Khan) to which she shared, "I am a friendly person and it's been very good working with them. It's a good working environment around us. I have known Arjun before also, as his wife is a very dear friend of mine; he has a cute kid (smiles)."
