We've gotten a small amount of info about Alex thus far - he was Veronica's son who went missing when Sophia went to play with him and hence Veronica hates Sophia for losing her.

I wonder if any of the current characters could possibly be Alex? While Yug being an orphan makes him a possible candidate, I highly doubt CVs will make him Sophia's brother as I'm pretty sure they plan to keep their romance. Also, in flashbacks we have seen that Sophia is older than Alex while Yug is either similar age or somewhat older than her. Yug's friends Johnny and Jaggu also look similar age or older than him so not them either.

I also wonder if his disappearance may have anything to do with Palekar Mansion? Although the residents died 25years ago and Sophia was around 9 when Alex went missing - she definitely is not 34 years old.

Hopefully we get to know about the Alex angle soon enough...

oh no yug as alex no. I remember they showed yug watching Sophia as a kid and peter was there to so its not him. I think we may eventually get a new character in the show which would be cool. and I initially when watching always thought that alex was dead and not so much lost until the other episodes when they said he had gone missing.

Hmm that could be true too. I've always felt he was missing because they only showed Soph running around but not mention of grave or body etc...anyways, I'm pretty sure you're right. And if Sophia+Yug manage to find him, that will truly mend the differences between Sophia and Veronica.
