I truly want to know. What will it take for Twinkle to reform her ways and stop bashing Kunj. Yes, what she went through today was absolutely mortifying and it questioned her entire existence as a woman. But that doesn't mean that she goes on insulting the ONE person who tried to stop all this.
Yes, he failed to succeed but at least he tried. He tried to make his stubborn parents understand. He tried to put a stop to this but he couldn't. The truth is that unlike Twinkle, Kunj doesn't have a say in his house. He doesn't get away with whatever he wants. He is punished for every wrong thing he does and he has to silently tolerate every single abuse that happens in that house. He does not come from a home like Twinkle's where he is pampered by everyone in the house, can lie easily and get away with things. He has to face the consequences of all his mistakes.
There are quite a few incidents that have happened to Twinkle that will undoubtedly make her question her existence as a woman. The farmhouse, the goo mutra, these incidents have reduced her from being a woman, a human being into an object that can be used as per one's wishes. Yuvi - for sexual pleasure and revenge. Manohar - for his personal greed. Usha - for her personal sadistic pleasure and liberation. From all accounts she is being used while her human existence is being diminished. All of this is wrong.
But does that mean that she should lash out on Kunj? Yes, he has been found somehow involved in all this. Farmhouse - he was laying on top of her half-naked because he was trying to cover her up with his shirt. His home - he arrived late and tried to stop the purification process but failed. In all instances, he has tried his best to help out but he was in both situations, helpless. Farmhouse - intoxicated, in shock and wrong timing. Home - again wrong timing and having no authority in the house. In both cases, Kunj has been the one who is subjugated just as much as Twinkle has. They both are helpless and have no dominance or autonomy in their own lives. Until they don't gain this, they will never be able to move forward in their lives in a healthy manner.
Again, does this mean that Twinkle should lash out on Kunj? No. Kunj is the one who is helping her out despite everything that she has done or thinks about him. He is not a husband in her eyes nor a friend and probably not even a human being. She doesn't care about his feelings, or the hurt that he may receive from either her words or actions. But he still helps her out.
Why? We have already established that Kunj is inherently a virtuous man who will never back down from helping someone, especially a woman, out when they need it. Now that Twinkle has become his wife, that instinct to protect and help will become even stronger. He has taken vows in public and in front of deities to accept her as his wife and support Twinkle as a companion in all forms of life, no matter the tribulations. In happiness and sorrow, in sickness and health. He will be by her side whether she likes it or not.
That at least is in the public. In public, she is Mrs. Twinkle Kunj Sarna and he will ensure that Twinkle has respect and dignity and never has to bow her head in shame before anyone. In private however, he will give her her space and not try to establish any sort of relationship with her unless she requests it.
That is who Kunj Sarna is. He will ensure your safety while respecting your wishes.
Twinkle right now has a lot of growing up to do and with all the atrocities that are happening to her as a woman, she is not getting the time that she needs to process everything and understand what is going on. She is not understanding why she is being attacked so much nor why is it so easy for her to be a target. Why she is being mistreated nor why everyone dislike her so much. She needs time.
Unfortunately, the CVs don't think too hard on this and they will most likely gloss this over as if nothing had ever happened. They will continue with Twinkle bashing Kunj constantly while he silently takes it all in. Us viewers on the other hand, will be ripping our hairs out because of Twinkle while our hearts break for Kunj.
