And hey, there might be people like me who read your updates but do not comment (I do not comment because I haven't got the time to sit and weave out a good reply for your amazing pieces).
From my own experiences, I think people like visuals more than writing, because of the relatively greater effort that is to be spent in understanding the author of the written updates. So it is obvious that the response to your FFs will decline. Here, why don't you try some more innovative ways? You agree or not, a little promotion is necessary.
I understand your situation and dejection when you face these, but do try to promote your writings. Use methods which will draw attention, write in other sites and write on other other jodis (that's easy, you write an update on ArShi in MS, and change the names).
And, contests? Yeah, I've seen you asking people to guess what's next, but what about something more interesting? Think about it.
What about giving one update in the form of a comic strip? And keeping secret which one will be a comic strip UD?
