Mahesh Bhatt is known to be very opinionated
and vocal, be it with his family or in the
media, but he's never forced his opinions on
daughter, Alia. She recently revealed that her
dad is not intrusive but does get disturbed,
and had once called her after reading about
her relationship status in the paper.
To PTI, Bhatt said, "I have at beautiful
relationship with my father and it is only
getting better with each passing year. But yes
dad is, not a little, but very possessive about
me though in a cute way. But he is not
intruding. He will never say, Don't do this' but
he does get disturbed here and there. He once
read something in the paper and called me,
saying, Are you dating this guy?' and I told
him had I been dating, he would have known.
This is not new for him at all, he has been in
the industry for such a long time. Having
Pooja in his life much before I entered
Bollywood has made him experienced in all
this."
Bhatt is currently on an extensive promotional
spree, for her next with Shahid Kapoor,
