| His entry in Saarthi was supposed to be a cameo but it lasted for a few months. "These days the definition of cameo has changed. A cameo is supposed to last for two to three weeks but in dailies it can go on till five to six months too," laughs Manav Gohil who has lately been doing mainly cameo appearances. "It works well for me because I get to play different characters instead of getting stuck in one particular role for years. In fact, after playing longish roles in Kkusum and Kasauti I decided to concentrate on cameos to stay away from monotony and boredom." The producer of Saarthi wanted Manav to continue with the show till December but Manav says he requested for an early exit because something very interesting had cropped up. But he is not talking about it yet.
