Is Ranveer a MISCAST as Baijaro? Time to question him (the SEQUEL)

😉😆 So Deepika discussion went quite well. Time to question the hero. 😈 Some people have said Ranveer doesn't suit this epic role. SLB is just cashing in on the success of Ram Leela. Ranbir, SRK, even Salman could have played the role. What about Siddharth? 🤣☺️ Please share your thoughts. 😲

Ranveer totally looks the part!

I heard Bajirso was an average looking guy with average height! RS totally fits the bill.

It is his effiminate voice which is a let down.

I think he fits the character completely. Seems to have done a remarkable job

I am not aware of Bajirao's history so cant judge how accurately Ranveer nails the look part.But his expressions in Mastani song leave a lot to be desired.I had to read the comments to realize Bajirao was stunned by Mastani's beauty and instantly taken in by her.I didnt see the passion and intensity in Lahu munh lag gaya.He was kind of blank and DP/PC held my entire attention.In the teaser,I didnt like his dialogue delivery.Hrithik usually fits like a glove in such roles and Ranveer is yet to awe me like HR did in JA promos.For now I will reserve my further comments till BM hits the screens.

Nah, apart from Ajay and Hrithik, Ranveer seems to be the only one with the look to pull it off

Many in the forum are confused Bajirao is a beautiful king😆! Bajirao is an average looking military general and PM, not a king.

At this point, Ranveer looks perfect and well-suited. All that we have seen, he has done a remarkable job.
Remember it's the same hyper guy who wears colourful dresses. It just shows how good and hard-working an actor he is :)

The other person who would suit this intense and no-smile role is Ajay Devgan. Ironically, SLB did approach him for the role few years back.

SRK and Aamir are other candidates. Farhan and Ranbir too.

Salman bhai and hrithik don't fit the role as they are good lookers and wouldn't accurately portray Bajirao. Acting wise, they would have done well too.

Since the director chose Ranveer, there must be aspects that he possessed to portray Bajirao. SLB is a renowned and respected director from India no matter whether you like his kind of movies or not and he is a person who forgot friendship with salman and offered devdas to SRK. So, it is evident he didn't choose Ranveer because he knew him.

He is fine...delivery is a problem with him.
