Deepika Copies Sonam Fashion Sense

They might not be on the same page with each other right now, but guess their sartorial sense is...

Deepika Padukone released much awaited song from her period drama Bajirao Mastani,Deewani Mastani. She donned a cream white, with an ivory tinge, Anarkali with delicate pink embroidery for the event and looked like a painting.

One look at the Bajirao Mastani actress and we were reminded of Sonam Kapoor's similar looking Anarkali suit worn at her film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo's trailer launch. Both Deepika and Sonam chose almost same outfits and wore their hair up. Anju Modi (who also is costume designer for the actress in Bajirao Mastani) specially created this look for Deepika and Sonam wore Anamika Khanna to the do.

Though both ensembles are quite alike each other, we liked Deepika's look better. Her understated make-up including soft, lilac lips and simple up-do for hair made her look almost ethereal! In comparison to this, Sonam's make-up looked a bit caked and overtly done up.

While Deepika went for simple jhumkis, Sonam wore earrings and maang tikka. Both finished off their look with the traditional mojris.

Deepika looks so fair here, even in the mastaani song. It can't always be the lighting, she gets skin whitening treatment done.
