What if Justin Bieber is also Miley Cyrus? I mean have you ever seen them in one place at the same time?😛
Those who have talent will use it. Those who have none will exploit themselves. Looking at you Miley Cyrus.😕

Note to myself: Miley Cyrus is worth MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. She probably doesn't care what we think of her.

Of course she doesn't give a rap. The media, music industry doesn't care either. She doesn't care about the damage she is doing to herself and the society. Think about all the youngsters who look upto her. Just because she is worth millions and people still go to her shows and stuff doesn't make it OK. Obscenity is not Ok or normal. She is one of the stars who will end up in rehab after some time.

Well I agree to the above points...

But today fame, talent, skill everything is just a business element only...

One with 40% talent and the will to do anything can definitely be a star...

I'm not at all under-grading talent here...but it was old the times which only focused on pure talents...

Today its entirely different...today celebs need to keep themselves updated within the audience to remember them...and to keep the fame upto the mark...

And these type of public stunts are just a part of it...getting more into controversy means audience will remember them more (that is the same reason we are discussing the topic here)...just pure business and mind game...

We can see these kinds of acts in film promotions too...making controversy to promote the films too..so that the news will reach maximum people...Just pure business nothing more...A good controversy will sell out more than a good trailer ..

The same way these people uses some cheap controversy to divert more attention towards their music..just and just business again...

i will say the society is responsible...instead of raising their voice against these cheap stunts..they are encouraging such stuffs by giving more LIKES and SHARES in social networking sites..

And talking about media...their life line is these kind of news only..so that they can run a 1 week slot full with these shitty stuffs and unfortunately it gains more TRP...again business...

Frankly speaking i'm not at all a fan of Miley..but this is the trend the current generation follows...

And with all due respect i would like to add that i respect women and any of my lines above was not intended to hurt any... 😊

I have my own battle grounds with the never ending media, who misuse in the name of literature and so called truth. If only they would use their power in the right direction, to help the society and change the way they think!

Everyone knows that the society is at fault, but then the society is made of people, what is an individual doing to address this issue and change the way society governs? Does the responsibility not fall on an individual? The belief is pretty simple, as a great man once said, be the change you wish to see in the world. 😉

This is not to point finger at one individual or the entire fame industry in general, but the issue is how an individual perceives and accepts such norms.

I don't know what motivates Miley Cyrus and the likes of her to go on stage and make a mockery of themselves ? It's not about being skimply dressed or almost enacting a po*n scene on stage in name of music. I wish to know what drives them ? Do they feel liberated and empowered ?
Why are they only interested in exploring the sexual aspect? Media attention, money and fame can be few answers.
