Episode begins with Tayi asking Karthik where he is going with the food. Karthik tells her that he's hungry as he hasn't eaten all day and doesn't feel good eating before guests. Tayi tells him to go have it fast. A servant tells them that the guests are asking about them. Karthik is almost at the room when Tayi asks if anyone is in the room. Karthik says there's no one. Tayi asks that if no one is there why is it locked from inside. Karthik denies that it was locked from inside. Tayi says she tried to open it before. When Karthik asks why she was trying to get into his room. Tayi replies saying she had come to get him but he tries to deviate the topic by asking why she was searching for him inside when he told her that he's going out.
Finally Tayi tries to open the door and it opens easily. Tayi suspects there's a thief in the room and starts searching the room. Karthik tries to explain that it's the weather that makes the door hard to open and now that the rain has stopped it opened pretty easy. Tayi tells him to get the door fixed and leaves. Survi, who was yet again hiding in the cupboard comes out. Aniket sees Karthik and Survi eating in Karthik's room by silently opening the door. Karthik soon closes the door but is not aware of what Aniket witnessed. Aniket remembers the past.
Tayi gets a call from Alvi who asks her if the money is arranged. Tayi tells him to be more patient and stay in the room till she comes. Alvi said that he can't wait for long so she should make it sooner or he'll create a scene. Aniket tells his sister about what he saw and she gets angry. She decides that they'll plan something to get KarVi punished. Aniket's other sister comes and they tried to hide it from her but she threatens to tell Tayi something is up if they don't tell her what's going on.
Karthik wishes Survi a happy birthday and says that it won't repeat it net year. He was about to promise but hesitates and says he'll try. Survi asks if he got stuck between two promises and he says he'll try to fulfil both with his life if required. Survi asks how he'll fulfil if he dies. Karthik diverts the topic and they get ready to cut the cake. As Survi was about to cut the cake she gets emotional remembering her father and asks Karthik to get her to talk to him.
Tayi questions her children and says that she feels that something is up. Tayi says she wants to go to Karthik's room. Aniket stops her and says that Karthik is not in his room. Tayi goes away to mingle with the guest. They tell Aniket's other sister about KarVi in Karthik's room.
Karthik arranges for a video call between Survi and Srikanat. Survi gets emotional as she talks to her dad. Srikant assures her that he's fine and gets emotional like his daughter. Srikant says that he'll be out and net to Survi very soon. He asks Survi if she's happy and if everything is okay.
Survi lies that everything is fine. She tells him that Karthik takes very good care of her. Srikant says that he believes in Karthik and that he will never break his promise. Srikant had to go and wishes her a happy birthday and gives her his blessings. Srikant tells Karthik that he did a lot for him(Srikant) and thanks him. Karthik tells him to take care. The video call ends.
The lawyer calls Karthik and tells that the man who framed Srikant for robbery ran away from Dubai and is in Mumbai. The lawyer tells Karthik that he probably went to meet the person who paid him to frmae Srikant and it'll be good to catch them together and get them both arrested. Karthik tells him to keep givind uodates.
Survi thanks Kathik for the video call. Karthik tells her not to thank for small things. Survi tells that it's a big thing for her and asks how he arranged everything. Karthik tells her that he knows her well enough to know she wants to talk to her father on her birthday and that her father will be missing her too.
Karthik tells survi that they should now go ahead and cut the cake but at that point of time Tayi knocks at the door.
