Shame on the Pancholis... they are using every trick in the book to cheat the owners of what is rightfully theirs...leeches...

Yeah... seriously that owner must have paid 10000 times more in legal fees.

Pancholis are real shameless conmen, parasites! How come they were not evicted earlier? Dragging eviction case for 3 decades! Mumbai courts of law are even more corrupt than any other city!
Its no use thinking Aditya Pancholi will finally go to jail...Mumbai clearly has no law and order or proper justice system.

yup its possible as it was done in 1960 n during those time aisa hota tha

Yes, I know. In my hometown Kolkata, there have been many such cases where longtime tenants lived in a house since 1960s paying very low rent, then when landlord tried to increase rent, they refused as the law used to favor the tenant even if they are paying ridiculously low rent.
I think they have changed the law now and landlord can evict the tenant with help of police. But Im not sure...there are many loopholes still in the law.

exactly but still its a very tiring job to remove tenants plus the cases can go for such a long time that one will be tired n as law favors tenants it makes it more complicated

We had similar tenant that gave us hard time evicting him. Since we hardly go to our house in Gujarat, that person transferred our house in his wife name and then he tried to sell to it but we caught him on time

Yeah, my grandparents house had the same case, tenants had lived downstairs for 30 yrs and refused to move out, after my grandfather's death, my Mausi paid 2 lakhs to make them move...that was 15 yrs ago so 2 lakhs wasnt a small amount.
