She started out with 2 massive hits - KNPH and Gadar. Her performances were appreciated in both.

then, Humraaz. But after that, her career just fizzled out. She was good-looking and a good actor.

Was it bcoz she was an outsider to the industry without any godfathers? Was she too gracious and genteel for dirty Bollywood?

Her attitude. Success went into her head. She could not think properly. Every interview she gave screamed of attitude, loads of it and once her filmy graph started going down she started blaming other actresses. Plus her affair with vikram bhatt& fight with her parents. Everything went against her. She was never meant to be a part of this industry in the true sense. She literally wasted her degree. Being a gold medalist in economics she could have done wonders. But then she ruined it all by herself.

I used to be so excited when she entered the industry as I was so happy that finally a Gujju actress was in Bollywood. But after KNPH everything went wrong with her - her attitude being #1.

Amisha destroyed her career with bad choices in personal and professional life. She showed so much promise in KNPH and Gadar but couldnt live up to it.

But why was Amrita sidelined? Shes really pretty and a decent actress!

She made such a hit pair with Shahid! Why didnt Shahid utilize that, he could have had more superhits like Vivah?

Amisha would've sustained if she had filmy connections.. her attitude was bad, but there are so many others who are worse like bimbola and sodumb..They are given chances inspite of their obnoxious personality as they're star kids...I remember reading an interview of amisha after knph success.. she had said how she was being sidelined as she was not from a filmi background..

Vikran Bhatt happened.

And she has a huge ego. If you have the talent or box office pull she can carry an ego in this industry, but not if you're churning out flops and crapfest films.
