Who likes Ranveer Singh and Arjun
Kapoor's dosti? We can imagine
many hands going up on that one.
Never mind that they gave us a
forgettable film in Gunday. Their
bromance was more than evident
during the film promotions. While
there were whispers that the two had
simmering tension because Arjun was
linked to Ranveer's ex-flame Anushka
Sharma at one point, the two actors
behaved like besties.
And of course, then came the AIB
Roast, which practically became a
national issue in itself! The duo even
hosted the IIFA Awards in Malaysia
this year
Now, the good news is that the two
are reuniting. This time around, it's
for a commercial of a biscuit brand.
We hear, the brand officials were
initially eager to get a superstar on
board for the ad. However, they
realised that instead of signing one of
the 40-plus actors, they could rope in
young stars Ranveer and Arjun, who
resonate much more with today's
youth. What further worked out in
their favour was that the two also
came at a lesser fee.
Buzz is, the two have agreed to lend
their face to the biscuit brand and
will shoot for the commercial soon.
Knowing the duo, don't be surprised if
it's one wacky ad!
