Scene at RM: ( that would be my place😆😛)
So there I was finally happy that I got to watch SwaSan on TV @ 9:30(Usually get back home late so watch it online), my dad walks in.
Dad: Switch the channel. Match is on. Everyday these people cry. You watch them cry tomorrow.
Me: I'll switch in sometime. There's hardly 10 mins left to the show.
*Swara goes to wipe her tears with mehendi on her hands. Sanskaar stops her and makes her realize shes wearing mehendi*
Dad: *Looks at me* "He's the hero?"
Me: "Yeah".
Dad: "They are bf-gf"?😳
Me: *awkwardly shifts on the sofa* "NO! They are husband-wife!" *feeling pretty great that I came up with that save*
*Sanskaar says "mera haq hona chahiye"..wipes Swara's aasoon...scene continues...*
Me: *grinning like a maniac* 😃
Dad: "Why is she crying?😕 What is he saying"?(We Come from South India , Dad doesn't understand Hindi that well)
Me: "huh?... she's getting married. Well he said don't cry".🤔*getting annoyed at being disturbed from watching it*
Dad: "Huh? Isn't she already married"? 😕
Me: "Yeah.. she's getting married again".
Dad: "To someone else?"😕
Me: "No! To the same person!"😳
Dad: "why?"
Me: *totally into the scene* "Because they were pretending to be married before. Now they'll get married for real!"
Dad: WTH?😲
*SwaSan scene still going on*
Me: *realized what I just disclosed* Swicthed the channel to SA-IND match* only 3 wickets? 😲
Dad: Seriously?! India's going to loose this one I'm telling you.
Phew! Was so close to being lectured by my daddy dearest there...
Imagine having to explain to your DAD that 2 sisters are fighting against each other(especially if you have a sister yourself), one's a pyscho,the other got fake married to a guy to save her mom & dad's rishta! Yeah I dn't think that would go well. Would probably get banned from watching hindi soaps entirely!😳
Moral of the story :Never watch Swaragini on TV especially when your dad is around.
P.S Caught up with the scene online and finally was free to drool over Sanskaar It was a pretty epic scene!😃
