Sonam unveils Beautiful Hair Gallery

From reel to real...
Last night saw the Rapunzel of Bollywood — Sonam Kapoor — unveil the Dove Beautiful Hair Gallery. This is a one-of-its-kind initiative by Dove Haircare, which marks the culmination of their 'Real Women Real Beauty' campaign, which began with an online survey to find out what women the world over felt about their hair.
The survey revealed that over 80% of women were unhappy with their hair. Based on these findings, Dove then came up with the idea of giving women what they craved for — gorgeous healthy hair!
This was done through The Dove Hair Wash experience at various malls across the city where women could experience Dove shampoo working its magic on their hair and making it damage free.
Following the wash, these women got their pictures taken. Finally, a set of 30 satisfied women were chosen by Dove for an exciting Dove Hair Makeover, and were given an opportunity to have their picture perfect moment when renowned fashion photographers Vikram Bawa, Senthil and Ashish Chawla made them a target of their lens. These pictures then went on to become a part of the Dove Beautiful Hair Gallery that was opened to the public by the charming Sonam Kapoor at an exquisite wine and cheese event.
Speaking about her association with Dove, Sonam said, "I am so thrilled to be part of such a remarkable initiative. The campaign is a unique approach that Dove has taken to enable women to get closer to themselves. It really makes women understand that beauty is not cosmetic. Healthy hair is beautiful hair. It provides an easy solution to all their hair care needs. The entire Dove range has something in store for every woman and takes care of every hair related problem. Dove is a great product and it works wonders. This beautiful hair gallery is a testimony of Dove's success!"
