Unlike what is being perceived, Farah Khan had approached Aamir Khan for the mother-of-all item song in OM SHANTI OM, which features around thirty top Bollywood stars of the last few decades.

In fact, it was Farah's desire to bring Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan, together on-screen for the first time ever.

However, Aamir Khan pleaded his inability to shoot for the film, saying that he was busy shooting for his directorial debut venture, TAARE ZAMEEN PAR. He added that his participation in the song would delay not only TAARE ZAMEEN PAR but also his new film, which is a remake of GHAJINI.

amir khan is just so self centered and sounds arrogant. it wasn't like srk is inviting him for all of his parities people do alot of favor for friends but i don't think like salmaan, srk and saif amir khan considers them his friends 😕

It would have been nice to see him as well but as it says he was busy... I've seen the promo of the song it looks gr8... can't wait for the film!

i don' think he's jealous or that he has any problems with anyone. i think hes worked VERY HARD on his image and he doesn't want to spoil it by doing guest appearences and so on. He's here to work and thats all. nothing more nothing less. and i highly doubt hes concerned about 'friendships'- hes always kept himself away.

Well Aamir is not into doing Item numbers and guest appearances. He seems to have certain rules and principals for himself and I think we should respect that. When there are so many stars in the song, one more star being there or not should not be a big deal.

Aamir Khan being jealous of SRK? they are in two different leagues and not even competing! :)

oh please ahaha amir khan is way better then srk lol wayyy better people lol srk does his lovy dovy roles lol n amir has done every possible role out there offered to any actor i think hes done it all n hes alot famous over seas then srk is i mean srk is famous but mostly in india i feel anywhere else its always salman n amir i never her that much srk lol my opinion again sorry if u felt bad but Amir khan was the first every khan to be successful pple lol dont forget ahaha
