As an Ishra fan who loves whom more is up for debate, because CVs never showed them planning for romantic dinners just for themselves..For Raman he has been there and done all the first's during his marriage with Shagun, but for Ishita it is her first marriage, no honeymoon, no romantic dates unless it was ruhi ke leye or forced by someone else. CVs messed up big time in not showing the romance but jumped into sex for baby ke liye track..Sometmes if you reflect on the story..feel Raman is more grateful to Ishita and want to balance things up by giving her a child..I wonder he fell in luv with Ishima and the perfect caretaker of his family but does he luv Ishita, the woman. If he thought about this, he would not have agreed for surrogacy..he is showing her hell on earth by this step.
Sorry for ranting so much.
@bold - that strength Ishita gave him during rain scene (or m missing something as I dont watch the serial but rely on WU). đ
Besides I can understand his guilt in accident track, he was still not in love with Ishita n did not trust that she will not punish Adi. Most of the parents go weak when it comes to confronting their children's mistake.
As u said he fell for Ishima first I agree with that (even in his confession he first said I love u Ishima), but hasnt he been the one to try n take their relationship forward away from Ruhi ke liye Condition? If he didnt love Ishita the woman, he wud not seek her strength too. If we look at License track he gives up his post for the woman who wants her hard earned career back, he is not looking at her just as a mother. It was Raman who wanted Ishita to experience motherhood n remove the tag of being a Baanj when he first knew she cud get pregnant (Valentines day - Anniversary). If he just considered her as Ishima then y wud he think of Ishita the woman who was ostracized by society?
Love is not just being grateful but also understanding n supporting the one u love (which was shown during Valentine's week episodes or recently when he fights with his family for her honor). Do u mean to say that Ishita is the giver in this relationship n Raman has always been the taker, if yes then there is a limit to this give n take. Somewhere it becomes more of a relationship of convenience for Raman (Raman makes mistakes n she forgives) than Love.
I perceive his guilt /self pity in this case (surrogacy) more of a plot convenience to create drama more than the Character's actual trait. Likewise CVs never show us Ishita or Raman confronting each other with their doubts/ problems in the start of the track (or even at the end of the track) so that they can create drama later out of that misunderstanding. đ
Obviously different people will have different opinions n expectations for Love so I am not saying u r right or wrong n neither m I right with everything I say. To each their own, so no need to b sorry about ranting. Even I rant. đł
