The actor revealed the news at a recent media interaction

Television heartthrob, Gurmeet Choudhary made his Bollywood debut last year with Mahesh Bhatt's thriller, Khamoshiyan that also marked the Bollywood debut of Sapna Pabi of 24 fame. Though the film failed to earn big bucks at the box office, Gurmeet's stint was very much appreciated. Post the film, however, Gurmeet has been missing from the scene and speculation around his next project has been on the rise. While some claimed that he's returning to Television, others suggested that he's only looking at Bollywood offers. The actor, however is doing them both.

Not only will he be seen in Zee TV's upcoming reality show, I Can Do That, Gurmeet has also confirmed that he's all set to start working on his next Bollywood project. Though the actor was hesitant to give out any further details, he confirmed that he'll start working on it next moth. Talking to BollywoodLife about the project, Gurmeet said, "I'm going on floor with my next from October 20.We'll be making an official announcement about the same next week."

When asked if it was with a big banner this time too, Gurmeet laughed it off saying that its a "nice production house." The actor has also grown his hair longer as he requires that for his onscreen character.

The actor has been proclaimed as the Greek god of tellyland who wooed his audience with his performance and memorable acts. For the longest time, fans knew him by his character names like Ram (Ramayan), Maan Singh Khurana (Geet Huyi Sabse Parayi) and as Yash (Punar Vivah). However, the actor was not satisfied, and he wanted people to know the real him.

That's how reality shows like "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa," "Nach Baliye" and "Khatron Ke Khiladi" happened to him.Gurmeet Choudhary was last seen in Mahesh Bahtt's "Khamoshiyan," which was his debut Bollywood project. While he gave a stunning performance, people were not too happy with the little screen time the actor received, and we are sure the actor feels that way too.

He became a household name through TV and hence doesn't want to leave it completely.

"TV has given me a name and made me who I am. I will never abandon the television medium. Having said that, I don't think I can do a daily soap now. I am waiting for something exciting like 24' or any fiction show that is finite and at the same time is exciting," said Choudhary.

Well, keeping that in mind, Choudhary signed on for Zee TV India's new show "I Can Do That," along with 11 other contestants. That's not all; apparently Choudhary has also signed his next big Bollywood project.

"I am doing another film. The announcement of that will happen a week from now," said Choudhary. The actor has been hiding his new look for the film from the media, but it seems we will be seeing him with long tresses in the new movie.

Over the years, Choudhary has been getting a lot of offers, but the actor has been sifting through them and being very picky about his projects; looks like he finally found his next big role. In spite of probing a lot, the actor was not ready to divulge any details of his next film.

"If I say anything, my producer will kill me," he claimed. Well, looks like we'll just have to wait to find out more about his upcoming Bollywood projects.
