The much I think nonsense cant get anymore the much SidT prove me wrong. I sometimes really think to give supari for him to threat him to the limit that he stops making third class fan fictions on our indian history and epic.

Ok but for a change I am going into scholarly (not much) points.

Sutas as everytime discussed are not Sudras for god shake. Sutas were storyteller. The Mahabharata narrator Sauti is himself a Suta so how the hell he had narrated the slokas and hymns that inside mb if sutas didn't have access??

Secondly as far I know if those who don't have access on Vedas chant hymns biggest punishment of them is cutting their tongue. Means they cant talk ever but still will remain alive. And for boys punishment can be lesser like swallowing cow dung or uttering some insults (not sure) sending him in isolation and different things. Death penalty is the last punishment. If they repeat the misdeeds.

Our society is unfair and unjust as ever I know. Still they were not abnormally cruel without logic. Even in that dreaded raam and shambuka story Rama did warn Shambuka to stop chanting Vedas and when shambuka didn't stop only then Rama beheaded him. Although I don't believe that story there clearly its said in satyayuga Brahman had access to Veda only in treta both brahman and Kshatriya had in dwapar brahman Kshatriya and vaisya have access in Vedas and in kaliyuga even shudras will have.
So in that logic suta, the lower caste Kshatriya are still higherer than vaishya and shudra so they already had access in Vedas. There are only few hymns that are particular for Brahmins . Not all.
Rather women unless they are brahmabadini had no access.

Anyway sidt's atom brain cant get access on such logic.
But anyway I need to vent.
Nowadays I come i-f to only vent anyway

It's no point Jhum...If Siddharth Tewary cared about our feelings n sentiments then we would not have seen Duryodhan calling Karna 'Sutaputra' or Draupadi doing 'Bhoot-Pisach' n monkey jaap. And we would have seen both the Pandavas n Kauravas as normals humans with flaws n not the saints n villains.

In the previous show...they made fun of a hero like Abhimanyu...totally whitewashed Karna but avoided all the scenes where his true virtues shine through...whitewashed Arjun but avoided his victory at Virat War, where his greatness as a warrior can be seen...whitewashed and whitewashed Kunti n from a strong, intelligent woman made her into one whiny weak person...they completely blackwashed Draupadi into one rude woman where it was not required but whitewashed her in the later episodes...showing her as a weak character where she was supposed to be fiery.

Now in this show...we see another set whitewashing n blackwashing.
Bhishma is stone-hearted here n Vidur is practically stone-faced.

I'll tell u wat the problem is...Siddharth Tewary is not the showing Karna the way he was...but the way he wants to be seen by most sentimental fans who are not very familiar with the actual facts.
Ask anyone around n everyone will say, 'Karna suffered only bcoz of caste.' This is completely wrong.
Karna's problems were partly bcoz of caste...partly personal...partly social n also partly for his own actions.
But most Indians know that Karna suffered bcoz of caste...which is not entirely true.

This is hoe generalizations have happened in the epic...n Siddharth Tewary is only strengthening this false generalizations. He thinks he is teaching the young minds of India but he doesnt know wat harm he is doing.
He is only earning money by propagating wat people want to see...a Dukhiyari Karna being forced to do wrong stuff bcoz of everyone around...which is true, but not completely.

Now Karna is being given reason after reason to hate the society...now he will have justifications for everything he will do in the future...every mistake in the name of 'tragedy'.

Why do people forget that Mahabharat is more like a slice of life veiled in divinity n spirituality...Everyone had flaws.
If justifying every word n action of Karna by showing fictitous tragic incidents is the only way, then this is not Mahabharat at all. He was a human n he made mistakes...like others. And somewhere he got punished. But he also got rewarded for his virtues with eternal glory. Is it that hard to digest for Siddharth Tewary?

Bhishma is being depicted this way...I wonder wat will happen to some others...

This is not at all expected.
The Sutas in SidBharat's Sidnapur are probably lower to the Shudras.

We all know that Shudras did serve food to the guests during the Rajsuya Yagya of Yudhisthir and all these guests were highly dignified people, there was no untouchability, but here it seems the Kshatriyas are not ready to share the same Sun as the Sutas use.

So I think in this world even during the Kaliyug any Suta would face similar punishment.

I do not believe in Ram - Shambhuk story, there are a lot of reasons to show that it was a later addition, so I would not go by that.

But my point is if Sutas were not allowed to touch the weapon, then if during the war, the Rathi is injured and surrounded by enemies, then would not the Saarthi try to protect him?

Although I am totally out of this serial

Absoluthely agree with all of you...
I just wonder, do they really think that people who watch their shows are just dumb or completely heartless or whatever, so that one and only way to make them sympathize with character or understand some very simple ideas (like "social inequality is bad") is to show torturing, chopped hands and total black/white nonsense? It's so shallow point of view...

What I thought after last 2 episodes (besides that I was shocked)... if we put the real story aside and just look at what they're showing, we see that though Duryodhana and Shakuni are considered to be pure ~evil~ and egoistic and so on, others who are supposed to be epitome of goodness are behaving even worse. Do they really think that it's better to have good reasons for doing something cruel and unjust (and still be justified as good person), than to at least try to stop it with egoistic motivation?... Just don't understand their idea. Well, in fact I think they don't have any idea at all, just inventing new episodes on the run without any logic.

..i am totally agreed with you...even as per kmg version adiparv karna himself recited slokes from Vedas from his very young age when he did his daily sun worshiping on the bank of river ganga...and whole hastinapur including vheeshma pitamah knew it very well... Even in mrityunjay he several Time met pitamah at dawn at the river bank and pitamah always admired him for doing so...
But sidT have some other level of understanding...so it's. Better we should not waste our time for him... I myself do not want to rise my bp by watching this crap...so a suggestion as friend pls do not watch this nonsence anymore...becoz I really do not think sidT even care for anyone. 🤢
