Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon Has taken the biggest opening ever for a newcomer. Kapil Sharma is a known face on television but it's his first big screen outing and collections are sure to cross the 7.50 crore nett of Student Of The Year. That film also had a much higher budget than Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon though not a holiday release. Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon will have a first day in the 8 crore nett region. Hero another film with newcomers had grossed 6.50 crore nett plus a couple of weeks back.
The film has done excellent business in North and Central India with East Punjab being best at 1.16 crore nett. The film has not fared so well in South and East India but that happens with the comedy genre unless it has a big established star.
The holiday for Bakri Eid has given it a boost and it remains to be seen where the film goes on Saturday but unless something drastic happens over the weekend it is sure to be a plus film. A strong hold on Saturday could even mean huge success.
