Kabir just hid the fact for obvious reasons. He was threatened. His family was threatened. His nephew was kidnapped. His bhabhi threw him out. Only he knows what he has gone through. In those circumstances he couldn't bare the facts to her. He had no deliberate intention to cheat or deceive. It was done with good intention of protecting the family that he loves. He dreaded a repeat performance.
I do agree that Ananya is hurt. She has every right to be angry. But that does not give her the liberty to slap him and hurl baseless and strong accusations that hit him under the belt. Both physical and mental abuse. Did she ever give him a chance to explain? She once told Malavika that she builds her stories on evidence. What is she doing here? Isn't it contradictory?
One cannot mix bad words with bad mood. Because you will get many opportunities to change your mood but you will never get an opportunity to retrieve the words once spoken.
"Quarrels end but words once spoken never die" says an African proverb. We are all aware of the famous story of a boy hitting a nail on the wall every time he got angry. This story was going around the mails. Finally when he removed the nails, he couldn't remove the dent that they made on the walls.
I have great respects for the writer / CV's / director /and the overall show. Hurts to see that they have forgotten this basic Truth here"words once spoken cannot be taken back. Wish they had given a thought to this factor. It would've been more close to reality than Ananya behaving in this irrational manner. She doesn't need to be so harsh.
Yes, it's a fiction and we need not get so upset. But #Reporters, Ananya, Kabir and all other characters have been so close to reality that we could relate to them. We could identify with them. We got attached to them. We could accept them with their flaws. I could accept Kabir with his ONS. I could accept Ananya with her impulsive behaviour and her MU with Kabir on earlier 2 occasions. I even loved for her childish behaviour. But the way she goes on hurling baseless accusations on Kabir is very surprising. I can't stand her any more. There's a limit. Wish #Reporters team take a note of this and don't take it further.
Majority in the Forum have started hating her. It pains to see that this particular character Ananya who has been so endearing in all 100 episodes has suddenly been made to be hated by the audience. Was it a deliberate attempt by them or was it plain overlook? I'm not even talking about Anita here. Its not worth a dime.
Whatever be it, in my view, the character Ananya can not be redeemed.
I agree with you. Back then, Kabir did not know Ananya. Yes he did an article on SK because of which the latter started trusting him. Because of that article, SK got the bail ( a very important factor that the Kashyaps are ignoring at the moment). Once he got the bail, he called Kabir to hand over some proofs and before Kabir could reach there or just as he reached there, SK was killed. Kabir got the proofs and also got one of the goons arrested. At this time, his nephew was kidnapped and he was threatened to take back the case failing which his nephew would be killed. Any normal person in this situation would do what Kabir did. I don't see anything wrong with his behaviour. Yes I do agree that he should have come clear with Ananya before the confession and that did not happen for whatsoever reasons. But now, that the truth has come out, Ananya either listens to his story and then takes a call or breaks the relation without listening to his POV whatever. But she has no right to accuse him of a crime as grave as murder. And just for this, I have started hating her character. And its not in the heat of moment that she said that once, she has been repeating it over and over again to almost make it sound like the truth and this is where the CVs have disappointed us big time.
