Glad you made the post after all. Even I wanted to make a post but refrained doue to the same reason as you mentioned. I agree first episode was gripping and well etched out. The starting scene was very impactful and I am happy they started from almost the climax point and chose to tell the story in flashback. It increases the curiousity factor esp for those who haven't read the novel. Chander is indeed wise and mature beyond his years, and its only with Sudha that we get a glimpse of his playful and carefree side. Sudha is fascinating. Yes she is ziddi, a bit spoiled, immature and childish and yet there is a purity and simplicity in her soul which shines through esp when it comes to her concern for Chander. The college scenes were good. I think overall they have been able to achieve the authencity in terms of setting and dialogues which is crucial for a period show. I am particularly happy with the choice of actors. I haven't actually followed any of Rahils show but know him to be good actor, even if just a bit mature for the character. I don't know the lead actress but I can see that she suits the role perfectly. Her features have old world Charm so she is convincing as a 60 girl. She can emote and is blessed with particularly expressive eyes. Again a big plus for this character. Sudha father is a veteran actor and his credentials are well established. Even the character roles have been well cast.
Overall a very good start with well paced narrative.

@all - Thank you so very much for the review. Have been a Laagi only viewer for the storyline firstly. Enjoyed that for the short period until the usual introduction of no-meaningful concept or story.
