Shah Rukh Khan teases Siddharth Anand during 'AskSRK', director finally hints at King title reveal

Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday week has already turned into a festival for his fans. Ahead of turning 60, the superstar hosted his famous #AskSRK session on X, where fans flooded him with questions about his upcoming projects—especially his much-awaited film King.

Khan opened the session with a cheerful post, writing, “Hi everyone. It’s been good times….award….series release…anniversary and all good things….thought will share some happy answers with you. So if free please join in for a #ASKsrk love u let’s start.” The tweet instantly went viral, drawing thousands of questions from fans eager to know what’s next for him.

When one fan asked about the mystery surrounding King, SRK couldn’t resist pulling director Siddharth Anand’s leg. He tagged the filmmaker and joked, “@justSidAnand kuch dikha na finally! Fans aur main dono tired ho gaye hain guessing game khelte khelte… aap ‘Remember’…‘There is..’ bol bolke kya tease kar rahe ho?”

The Pathaan director responded with a laugh, writing, “@iamsrk Hahaha. Sir... ‘Remember’ - Good things take time. ‘There is’ - work still going on for the Title Reveal of our film. #KING.”

Anand’s reply confirmed what fans have been hoping for—the King title reveal is in progress and likely tied to Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday on November 2. The filmmaker has been dropping cryptic clues for days. On October 9, he posted, “Tick Tock Tick Tock,” followed by “Remember” on October 29 and “There is” on October 30. His teasing posts had fans convinced something major was about to drop.

As per reports and Anand’s hint, the team might unveil a title reveal glimpse of King on Khan’s birthday, making it a double celebration for his fans.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, King features Shah Rukh Khan as an assassin in a sleek action thriller. The ensemble cast includes Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, and Saurabh Shukla. Rani Mukerji is also said to play a key role.

Currently in production, King is expected to release in theatres next year, marking SRK’s most ambitious action project yet.
