Task for debasree04 (from ANGELICEYES)
You have to write a short story with the following plot with present cast excluding lampposts, Tji, Nik, Pankaj, Shreya, and bringing in Vivek or Rajat sir...
Plot: A couple report a werewolf and hag at their newly built house. Soon several other surrounding families report the same. When CID is brought into the case they discover this news to be true. How does this case get resolved and are the werewolf and hag real?
Note: You need not write a full fledged, investigative story. 4-5 pages in MS Word in Times New Roman style and font size 11 will do.
MISSION HAG & WEREWOLF
FRIDAY NIGHT AT 10 PM
LADY : kitni baar kaha hein Raju exam se pehle TV dekhna nehin chahiye...kal Maths exam hei...ek din CID nehin dekhogi to kya hoga?
RAJU : Mom, I am ready for exam & u know na CID is my favourite serial.
MOM : Ufff! Pata nehin iss ladke ka kya hoga...CID aur HARRY POTTER ka bhoot kab niklega iske dimaag se! Thik hain 11 baje so jana...aur TV mat dekhna...
RAJU : Yes Mom!
NEXT DAY MORNING
There are too much crowd outside the Raju's flat. Raju along with his parents comes out to check what's happened. One couple is shouting that last night in their flat, they have seen a hag. They have just bought the flat few days ago bit now want to sell it. Everyone becomes shocked & confirms that it's unbelievable & can't be true. They must have hallucination of it. The couple becomes very angry.
One day has passed. Nothing happened.
Again a hag is seen in another flat of the same building. Now it's not possible that 2 families are going through same hallucination. It must be something wrong. They inform the secretary of the complex & decide to call the police.
SECRETARY : Hamare complex mein hi to ek police officer hain...pehle unse baat karte hai...
RAJU shouts : Vivek uncle!! [Yes, Raju is present throughout due to his curiosity about hag which he sees on TV only!]
They meet Vivek & he becomes shocked. He is quite sure that there must be some illegal activities.
Vivek confirms - aaj raat main aap ke building par nazar rakhunga...agar jarurat pare to kal police ko inform kar lenge...
AT NIGHT
Vivek is moving one floor to another of that building. 2 hours has passed but nothing happened. It's 12.30 am. He is on the terrace. He is feeling tired & sleepy due to hectic day. Thinking - haath mukh mein thoda paani de deta hoon...suddenly he hears a sound & turn around. He becomes shocked to see one hag standing just 10 feet away from him. He tries to take out his gun but before that 2 werewolves attack him. It's so sudden that Vivek can't react properly. He tries his best to fight with them but gets severely injured & becomes unconscious.
NEXT MORNING, AT CID BUREAU
Freddy is trying to remember something while Daya asks : Are Freddy kya hua?
FREDDY : Sir, main yaad karne ki kosis kar raha hoon ke aaj kis ka birthday hein par yaad hi nehin aa raha hei...
ABHIJEET : Aaj Vivek ka birthday hei...mere mobile par reminder aaya...
FREDDY : Are haan...
DAYA : Hum sabko use wish karna chahiye...
FREDDY : Sir, main phone karu?
Duo nods. Freddy calls Vivek. The phone is ringing but no one receives it & cut the call. Again Freddy tries. This time someone receives it.
FREDDY : Hello, Vivek, Happy birthday to you!
From another side a voice comes out : Main, Jogeswari Police Station se SI Pandey bol raha hoon...
Freddy becomes shocked while duo becomes confused to see facial expression of Freddy. Abhijeet asks with gesture. In reply, Freddy presses the loudspeaker on' button.
SI PANDEY : Aap kaun bol rehe hei...
ABHIJEET replied : Main CID se Sr Ins Abhijeet bol raha hoon...Vivek kahan hei?
SI PANDEY : Ohh Sir, Good morning Sir! Ohh Vivek sir CITY hospital mein admit hei...
They become shocked & shout together : Kya!
DAYA : Vivek ko kya hua hei?
FREDDY : Woh thik to hai na?
SI PANDEY : Sir, mujhe jyada to nehin pata par shayed kisi Hag ne attack kiya tha...
ABHIJEET (angrily) : Kya bakwas kar rehe ho? Hum avi City Hospital aate hei...
CITY HOSPITAL
CID team reaches. Vivek is still unconscious. Doctor says that his condition is really critical & also confirms that some animal has attacked Vivek. While Vivek's neighbour confirms that the attackers are Hag & 2 Werewolves.
Abhijeet becomes angry & asks : Kisne dekha Hag aur werewolf ko?
2 30+ guy come & confirm that they have shown hag & werewolves. They explains the whole incidents.
The CID team becomes shocked. Freddy wants to say something while Daya warns him by gesture.
ABHIJEET : Daya, yeh kaise ho sakta hei?
DAYA : Boss, mujhe kuch samjh mein nehin aa raha hei...
SACHIN : Sir, yeh vi ho sakta hei ke raat ke andhere mein unn logo se koi galti ho gayi hei..
ABHIJEET : Ho sakta hei magar itne logo se ek hi vul kaise ho sakta hei?
PURVI : Aur Sir, Vivek par vi to hamla hua hei...woh kisne kiya hoga?
DAYA : Abhijeet, mujhe lagta hei k eek baar Salunkhe sahab ko bula lena chahiye, Vivek ke ghao dekh kar woh kuch bata sake...
ABHIJEET : Sahi kaha Daya tumne...main unse avi baat karta hoon...aur tum, Sachin aur Purvi ke saath uss MKL Society mein jao jahan Vivek rehta hei...dekho agar kuch suraag mil jaye...
Daya, Sachin & Purvi leave while Abhijeet calls to Dr Salunkhe.
After an hour, still Vivek is unconscious. Dr Salunkhe reaches the hospital.
SALUNKHE : Abhijeet, yeh Vivek kaisa hei...
ABHIJEET : Avi vi behosh hei...Freddy room mein hei...chaliye wahan...
In Vivek's room,
Freddy is crying while Dr Salunkhe tries to console him...then he observes the injuries of Vivek.
SALUNKHE : Abhijeet, mujhe vi lagta hei kisi janwar ne hi hamla kiya tha...yeh dekho (pointing injury mark on Vivek's hand)
ABHIJEET : Sir, aur kuch?
SALUNKHE : Nehin Abhijeet aur kuch to kehna muskil hai...
ABHIJEET : To phir chalte hei...Freddy tum yahan rukoge kya?
Freddy nods. Abhijeet & Salunkhe leave.
AT MKL SOCIETY
DAYA : Sachin, tum yahan ki logo se puchtaj karo, main aur Purvi jara Terrace check karte hei...
On Terrace,
PURVI : Sir, aapko kya lagta hei ke hag aur werewolves sach mein hote hei ?
One voice comes out - Haan kyun nehin...maine vi dekhe hei...
Daya & Purvi become surprised & look around & notice an 8-10 yrs old boy standing in front of the door. They go forward.
DAYA : Beta, aapka naam kya hei aur aap akele yahan kya kar rehe ho?
BOY : Mujhe pata hain aap Daya uncle ho jo saare darwaja tod dete hei...(look at Purvi & says) aur aap Purvi aunty...mujhe aap dono bohot pasand ho...(looking around) aur Abhijeet uncle kahan hei?
Daya & Purvi smile.
DAYA : Woh yahan nehin aaye...
BOY promptly : Kyun?
They smile again...Purvi tries to divert the topic & says - Tum hamare bare mein to sab jante ho par yeh nehin bataya ke tumhara naam kya hei?
BOY : Mera naam Raju hei...
DAYA : Waaf...kitna pyara naam...to Raju tum batao tumne hag aur werewolves kahan dekhe hei?
RAJU : TV par...Harry Potter!
[NOTE - Raju believes that CID officers are real & all the cases shown on TV are also real. He also believes that HP is also real one.]
Daya & Purvi heave a sigh of relief. They smile.
Suddenly Raju's mother comes on the terrace & scolds Raju.
PURVI : Mam, aapko dhyaan rakhna chahiye...agar kuch ho jata to?
RAJU'S MOTHER : Sorry madam...magar kya kare yeh ladka bohot jyada shararti hei...koi baat nehin suntan..
DAYA : Achha aap hag aur werewolf ke bare mein kuch janti hei?
She nods negatively. And she leaves with Raju.
DAYA : Purvi, achhi tarah dhoondo...kuch na kuch jarur milega...
They search for few minutes & Daya gets a fur.
DAYA : Yeh dekho Purvi, ek baal mila hei...
PURVI : Sir, yeh Vivek ka to nehin ho sakta phir kiska? Attacker ka?
DAYA : Ho sakta hei Purvi...par exactly kya hei yeh to Salunkhe sir hi bata sakte hei...
FORENSIC LAB
TRIO, Sachin & Purvi enter.
ACP : Salunkhe kya pata chala?
Dr Salunkhe looks very confused.
ABHIJEET : Kya hua Salunkhe sahab?
He is silent. Everyone becomes more confused.
ACP Pradyuman steps forward to Dr Salunkhe & places his hand on doctor's shoulder & calmly asks - Kya hua? Itna tension mein kyun ho?
Dr Salukhe replies - Boss, woh log sach bol rehe hei!
DAYA : (confused) Kaun log sach bol rehe hei Sir?
SALUNKHE glances at everyone & says - Daya tumhe jo baal terrace par mila tha woh ek wolf ka hi hei...DNA text se mujhe pata chala...ab yeh sirf wolf hei yah werewolf yeh tum log dhundo...
ACP Pradyuman becomes very angry & says - Salunkhe tera dimaag kharab ho gaya hei...sahar ke beecho beech wolf kaise aa sakta hei aur werewolf hone ka to sawal i nehin udhta...
SALUNKHE : Sir, main vi bohot hairan hoon magar DNA text galat to nehin ho sakta na...
ABHIJEET : Magar Salunkhe sahab, yeh impossible hei...
ACP : Abhijeet, agar Salunkhe itne yaqeen se saath kehe raha hei to ho sakta hei koi wolf galti se yahan aa gaya...
PURVI : Sir, magar agar yeh sach mein wolf hei to humhe Wildlife Committee ko inform karna chahiye...
ACP : Haan jarur...tum unhe phone karke inform kardo...aur Abhijeet, Vivek ki kya halat hei? Hosh aaya use?
ABHIJEET : Nehin Sir, Freddy wahan par hi hei...usne avi tak phone nehin kiya...
Suddenly, Daya's phone rings. It's Freddy. Daya presses the "loudspeaker on" button so that everyone can hear it.
FREDDY : Daya sir, Vivek ko hosh aa gaya...
ACP : That's great Freddy! Vivek avi kaise hei?
FREDDY : Sir, bas hosh mein aaya hei par avi vi halat kuch thik nehin hei...par sir woh aap logo se baat karna chahta hei...
ACP : Okay Freddy, hum avi aate hei...
AT HOSPITAL, VIVEK'S ROOM
ACP : Kaiso ho Vivek?
Vivek is trying to get up & everyone stops him to do so.
VIVEK in feeble voice : Sir, main thik hoon...
DAYA : Tum humse kyun milna chah rehe the...
VIVEK : Sir, main aap logo ko kuch batana chahta hoon...
ABHIJEET : Kya?
VIVEK : Sir, main janta hoon ke aap mujhpar biswas nehin karenge magar maine sach mein Hag aur werewolf dekhe hei?
TRIO altogether shouts : Kya!!!
VIVEK Continues : Haan sir, main sach bol raha hoon aur 2 werewolves hei jisme mujhpar hamla kiya...
SALUNKHE : Vivek, tum sure ho ke woh werewolves hi the...
VIVEK : Yes sir! (boldly)
ABHIJEET : Sir, yeh kaise ho sakta hei...werewolf sirf kahani mein hote hei...
ACP : Wohi to Abhijeet!
FREDDY : Sir, yeh vi to ho sakta hei ke kisine mask use kiya ho?
DAYA : Nehin Freddy, kyunki humhe terrace par ek baal mila hei aur Salukhe sir ne bataya ke woh ek wolf ka hei...
Freddy becomes shocked & scared.
DAYA continues : Sir, ab kya kare?
ACP : Karna kya hei Daya...hag ho yah werewolves hum use pakad hi lenge...
SALUNKHE : Kya bol rehe hein Sir aap...yeh impossible kaam hei...yeh werewolf hei koi criminal nehin ke CID use pakad lega...
ABHIJEET : CID ke liye kuch vi impossible nehin hei...
THAT NIGHT AT MKL SOCIETY
TRIO, Dr Salunkhe, Freddy, Sachin, Purvi , Vivek (Yes, everyone tries to stop him but he wants to be the part of this mission)and 2 men named Kushal & Rajeev from Wildlife Committee are present in that society.
Their positions are - Duo, Vivek & Kushal on the terrace; ACP Pradyuman, Dr Salunkhe & Rajeev near the entrance of that building; Freddy, Sachin & Purvi inside the society & continuously moving from one side to another.
It's a full-moon night. Till 1am, nothing happens.
Suddenly they hear a howling sound. They become alert. As they are connected through phones, ACP Pradyuman alerts his team specially duo because they are on the terrace.
ON THE TERRACE
ABHIJEET : Lo bhai ab werewolf se ladna padhega...
VIVEK : Sir, Hag vi hei saath mein...
DAYA : Par hamare paas koi vi special haathiyaar nehin hei...
KUSHAL : Kyun, ACP Diler ke paas to bohot modern equipment hei super villains se ladne ke liye...
DAYA : Woh kya hei key eh hamara pehla case hei...next time se ho jayega...
KUSHAL : (confused & scared) Haan agar aaj zinda rehe to...
ABHIJEET : Are...yeh kya! Aap desh ke best CID team ke saath hei aur pehle hi negative baatein...
DAYA : CID mein negative baton ka koi jagah nehin...
ABHIJEET : Don't worry! Hum mein se koi vi marega...
Vivek hears a sound & says - Sir lagta hei...aa gaya!
In the middle of the terrace, a hag along with 2 werewolves stands.
Everyone becomes shocked to see these...duo & Kushal can't believe their eyes, while Vivek thinks that he was right woh mera bhram nehin tha'
Kushal becomes so scared that he becomes unconscious.
Duo shared a meaningful glances & stands & steps forward with guns aimed at them. They start firing but bullet has not affected supernatural animals. Duo becomes tensed.
ACP Pradyuman asks for update while VIvek gives the update. They become tensed to hear that gun is useless in this case. ACP Pradyuman orders everyone to come on the terrace to help them.
Here on the terrace, duo realizes that they have to use their physical strength only. And they start fighting with werewolves. Vigorous fighting occurs. Duo becomes injured a lot but they are duo so they continue fighting.
In the meantime, rest of the team reach there. They notice a hag stands on the middle of the terrace & watching their fighting.
ACP Pradyuman orders everyone to step slowly from behind & catch the hag. They do so & ACP Pradyuman catches the hag!
"PAKAD LIYA! PAKAD LIYA!! ACP uncle ne hag ko pakad liya!!"
"Daya uncle, Abhijeet uncle, come on come on...aap werewolves se nehin har sakte ho...aap super hero ho..."
RAJU'S MOTHER : Raju...Raju...kya hua? Beta 8 baj gaye...school hei...exam hei...uth jao jaldi...
Raju is sleeping on his bed & dreaming & continues shouting - Abhijeet uncle ne pakad liya...Daya uncle uth jao aur pakad lo jaldi se...
RAJU'S MOTHER : (scolding tone) Raju!! Kya sapna dekh rehe ho...hey bhagwan yeh ladka sapne mein vi CID dekh raha hei...
Then she gives a jerk on his shoulder & Raju wakes up & asks - Mom, ACP uncle, Daya uncle aur Abhijeet uncle ne werewolves aur hag ko pakad liya...ab woh humhe kavi tang nehin karenge...
RAJU'S MOTHER : (Teasing tone) Aur yeh werewolf aur hag humhe kahan pareshan kar rehe the...sapne mein?
Raju embarrasses & realizes that it was his crazy dream. Still he can't believe that it's a dream only. He still thinks that his CID uncles & Supernatural animals still exist in the world.

ACP Pradyuman becomes very angry & says - Salunkhe tera dimaag kharab ho gaya hei...sahar ke beecho beech wolf kaise aa sakta hei aur werewolf hone ka to sawal i nehin udhta...
SALUNKHE : Sir, main vi bohot hairan hoon magar DNA text galat to nehin ho sakta na...
ABHIJEET : Magar Salunkhe sahab, yeh impossible hei...
ACP : Abhijeet, agar Salunkhe itne yaqeen se saath kehe raha hei to ho sakta hei koi wolf galti se yahan aa gaya...
PURVI : Sir, magar agar yeh sach mein wolf hei to humhe Wildlife Committee ko inform karna chahiye...
ACP : Haan jarur...tum unhe phone karke inform kardo...aur Abhijeet, Vivek ki kya halat hei? Hosh aaya use?
ABHIJEET : Nehin Sir, Freddy wahan par hi hei...usne avi tak phone nehin kiya...
Suddenly, Daya's phone rings. It's Freddy. Daya presses the "loudspeaker on" button so that everyone can hear it.
FREDDY : Daya sir, Vivek ko hosh aa gaya...
ACP : That's great Freddy! Vivek avi kaise hei?

AT HOSPITAL, VIVEK'S ROOM
ACP : Kaiso ho Vivek?
Vivek is trying to get up & everyone stops him to do so.

DAYA : Tum humse kyun milna chah rehe the...
VIVEK : Sir, main aap logo ko kuch batana chahta hoon...
ABHIJEET : Kya?
VIVEK : Sir, main janta hoon ke aap mujhpar biswas nehin karenge magar maine sach mein Hag aur werewolf dekhe hei?
TRIO altogether shouts : Kya!!!
VIVEK Continues : Haan sir, main sach bol raha hoon aur 2 werewolves hei jisme mujhpar hamla kiya...
SALUNKHE : Vivek, tum sure ho ke woh werewolves hi the...
VIVEK : Yes sir! (boldly)

DAYA : Nehin Freddy, kyunki humhe terrace par ek baal mila hei aur Salukhe sir ne bataya ke woh ek wolf ka hei...
Freddy becomes shocked & scared.
DAYA continues : Sir, ab kya kare?
ACP : Karna kya hei Daya...hag ho yah werewolves hum use pakad hi lenge...
SALUNKHE : Kya bol rehe hein Sir aap...yeh impossible kaam hei...yeh werewolf hei koi criminal nehin ke CID use pakad lega...
ABHIJEET : CID ke liye kuch vi impossible nehin hei...
THAT NIGHT AT MKL SOCIETY
TRIO, Dr Salunkhe, Freddy, Sachin, Purvi , Vivek (Yes, everyone tries to stop him but he wants to be the part of this mission)and 2 men named Kushal & Rajeev from Wildlife Committee are present in that society.
Their positions are - Duo, Vivek & Kushal on the terrace; ACP Pradyuman, Dr Salunkhe & Rajeev near the entrance of that building; Freddy, Sachin & Purvi inside the society & continuously moving from one side to another.
It's a full-moon night. Till 1am, nothing happens.
Suddenly they hear a howling sound. They become alert. As they are connected through phones, ACP Pradyuman alerts his team specially duo because they are on the terrace.
ON THE TERRACE
ABHIJEET : Lo bhai ab werewolf se ladna padhega...
VIVEK : Sir, Hag vi hei saath mein...
DAYA : Par hamare paas koi vi special haathiyaar nehin hei...
KUSHAL : Kyun, ACP Diler ke paas to bohot modern equipment hei super villains se ladne ke liye...
DAYA : Woh kya hei key eh hamara pehla case hei...next time se ho jayega...
KUSHAL : (confused & scared) Haan agar aaj zinda rehe to...
ABHIJEET : Are...yeh kya! Aap desh ke best CID team ke saath hei aur pehle hi negative baatein...
DAYA : CID mein negative baton ka koi jagah nehin...
ABHIJEET : Don't worry! Hum mein se koi vi marega...
Vivek hears a sound & says - Sir lagta hei...aa gaya!
In the middle of the terrace, a hag along with 2 werewolves stands.
Everyone becomes shocked to see these...duo & Kushal can't believe their eyes, while Vivek thinks that he was right woh mera bhram nehin tha'
Kushal becomes so scared that he becomes unconscious.
Duo shared a meaningful glances & stands & steps forward with guns aimed at them. They start firing but bullet has not affected supernatural animals. Duo becomes tensed.
ACP Pradyuman asks for update while VIvek gives the update. They become tensed to hear that gun is useless in this case. ACP Pradyuman orders everyone to come on the terrace to help them.
Here on the terrace, duo realizes that they have to use their physical strength only. And they start fighting with werewolves. Vigorous fighting occurs. Duo becomes injured a lot but they are duo so they continue fighting.
In the meantime, rest of the team reach there. They notice a hag stands on the middle of the terrace & watching their fighting.
ACP Pradyuman orders everyone to step slowly from behind & catch the hag. They do so & ACP Pradyuman catches the hag!
"PAKAD LIYA! PAKAD LIYA!! ACP uncle ne hag ko pakad liya!!"
"Daya uncle, Abhijeet uncle, come on come on...aap werewolves se nehin har sakte ho...aap super hero ho..."
RAJU'S MOTHER : Raju...Raju...kya hua? Beta 8 baj gaye...school hei...exam hei...uth jao jaldi...
Raju is sleeping on his bed & dreaming & continues shouting - Abhijeet uncle ne pakad liya...Daya uncle uth jao aur pakad lo jaldi se...
RAJU'S MOTHER : (scolding tone) Raju!! Kya sapna dekh rehe ho...hey bhagwan yeh ladka sapne mein vi CID dekh raha hei...
Then she gives a jerk on his shoulder & Raju wakes up & asks - Mom, ACP uncle, Daya uncle aur Abhijeet uncle ne werewolves aur hag ko pakad liya...ab woh humhe kavi tang nehin karenge...
RAJU'S MOTHER : (Teasing tone) Aur yeh werewolf aur hag humhe kahan pareshan kar rehe the...sapne mein?
Raju embarrasses & realizes that it was his crazy dream. Still he can't believe that it's a dream only. He still thinks that his CID uncles & Supernatural animals still exist in the world.
