Urmi - don't think she has taken a back seat nor her priorities seem to have changed.I think she is very clear about wanting Akheraj and Kundan getting punishment for the way they treat women.

Kishore's uncle was not angry on Nandini for falsely implicating Kishore . Instead he was ashamed of his nephew for daring to molest a girl from Akhiraj's house.

Mangala is selfish, she is possessive, short of being soaked in villainy and evil she is everything.

Evidence so far has shown that she is sympathetic and helpful. She has been supportive of Kamli, urmi and even Harki.

The fact that she shared Kishore's news with Kamli shows she was very affected by it. If she was selfish it shouldn't have mattered to her that Kishore went to jail instead of Kundan. She needn't have bothered to tell Kamli about it.

If she was selfish she would not have let Nimboli testify to the policeman. She would have joined Harki in hiding the truth. If that had happened, N couldn't and wouldn't have testified. It was with her Teesa's encouragement that she filed the FIR.

When Kamli mentioned Vidhayaksa, she did not object to the suggestion. She was shown as thoughtful which is hardly the same as selfishness.

Even assuming M cared only for N and was possessive about her, I'd say that that is better than, or at least no worse than, thoughtlessly and carelessly losing the child to a killer and not doing anything to find her.

Am sorry I cannot but make this comparison because the differences are far too glaring to ignore.
