Okay, getting a little out of hand now. If Shahid had this much of a problem with his personal life being in the news, doubt he would've courted the media as much as he did for his wedding.

Why do I get the feeling Alia just doesn't want the spotlight to be on Shahid's marriage and not on her?

I wouldn't think too much about this ... They are sitting together anyway when she switches her bodyguard button on. If Shahid wanted attention and wanted to answer questions and thought Alia's going overboard... he'd have said something ... but even he stays quiet. It's only promotional strategy or good friendship. But I wouldn't go with the latter. 😆
