5 reasons why Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shettys Hero failed

Double the expectation

This was a launch pad for not one, but two star kids. Both Sooraj and Athiya have been in the spotlight even before they faced the media and attended press conferences. A lot has been speculated about their alleged off screen relationship as well. So there definitely was double the expectation from Hero given the fact that the film was launching these two new faces.

Salman's false promise

A lot of Salman Khan fans went in expecting a surprise cameo, or his song to be part of the film. Sadly what they watched was totally different from their expectation. Salman's Main Hoon Hero Tera track made its way to the end credits, testing the patience of his fans. It goes without saying that whatever numbers the film has clocked in on the first days are largely due to Salman's request to his fans to support these kids. But no Salman, means no paisa vasool.

Sketchy Script

Nikhil Advani seemed a bit confused with what he intended to do. Was he making a hardcore romantic film, or merely trying too hard to stay true to the original Hero. We will never know. Not only film critics, but even the average movie goer was confused with the directors attempt to put together a dodgy second half that made the proceedings unbearable.

The missing romance...

Why was the romance in the film missing ? Baring a few scenes, there is nothing that stands out in Hero for the sheer love quotient that one expects from a film of this magnitude. Sooraj and Athiya are good looking, but their scenes seemed incomplete. The two didn't even exchange a single kiss through the film, holding hands and cuddling up wasn't enough for movie goers to believe in this love story.

No dialogue baazi

Salman Khan films are famous for their epic dialogues. So it came as a big surprise that his first big production was thanda compared to what we have come to expect from Bhai. The writing was meek, and while one expected some hardcore dialogue baazibetween the baddie and Sooraj, we were given some really meek stuff. There was no do and die, together for 7 janams, or even a signature dialogue that the front benchers could enjoy

Coming to the movie itself...you can tell if a movie sucks just by the trailer. This movie sucks lol.

haan toh log buddhu ban gaye na...jab tak realize karte ki Salman ka cameo nahi hai..sirf last mein song hai ...woh bhi ittu sa...like that Salman fan was saying ki uska TV bhi usse bada hai...tab tak Hero ne earn kar liya...but people realized ki buddhu banaya gaya hai..toh ho gayi tain tain fiss😆😆...10 cr lifetime bhi nahi banati HERO on its own😆😆

For once I am very happy that a movie flopped. These 2 undeserving losers didn't get success on a platter too.
